Well they couldn't even win their own trophy last time, so let's see if they can win it this time around. Putting that aside, these could turn out to be some exciting matches.

I'm looking forward to Arsenal v Monaco.

Oh yeah, and Benfica v Valencia. The Europa League final that never happened. Could be interesting.

I'm actually curious about what Monaco is gonna do in Europe next year. These early matches may summarize it.

@emrecan I haven't watched monaco at all this season except from the Monaco-PSG which btw was terrible, because I'm not really interested in Ligue 1. But I'll definitely get a look at them for the emirates cup and for some of their CL games.

The Emirates cup is a friendly tournament, to get your players fit against better teams than the ones you go against on asia tours. And they are exhibition matches, to entertain the fans.

It will depend on their transfer signings, they already have a decent team and i think Ranieri will be replaced by Frank de Boer : They still need quality in some places of the field, Moutinho, Falcao and Co could reach round of 16, after that it will depend on the draw.

Arsenal should win a trophy

This is more about preparation in preseason than winning the trophy, which mean nothing anyways. Looking forward for both Arsenal matches!

Good luck playing two matches in two days! Seriously what is up with that? There is so much time in August, but nope, lets make to back to back games! What happens if each team wins one game? The organization of this is pure shit.

@Fabryi lol. You are just saying that because Arsenal can't win a trophy during the regular season, so they made their own tournament in preseason and still lost! "It means nothing anyaways!" HAHA.

^maybe They lost last year but they already won 3 times this cup since 2007. That's not for winning a trophy, like KingHenry said :
