Valencia, Sweden 181 2500

If clubs like Valencia, Betis, Sevilla, Spurs, Friburg, Frankfurt, Lazio, Fiorentina, Lyon and Dynamo Kiev would fail to advance it would be a big upset..

Most group of death like is group F i think

Interesting pair-ups:

Valencia vs Swansea
Sevilla vs Freiburg
Lyon vs Betis
Tottenham vs Anzhi

Should be good!

@Zakzook: LOL. I wouldn't say it's THAT weird, because Porto and Benfica have been the top two teams in Portugal for some years now and qualified directly to the CL, whereas Sporting (I reckon that was the last club you referred to) had a horrible last season and Braga kind of took over their place the last couple of seasons.

Now though, with a new president and manager, Sporting are doing their stuff absolutely brilliant.

@Gold: how is that Fredy Montero guy doing? Seattle were sorry to lose him.

Well, he's scored four goals in his first two games and has been brilliant so far for Sporting. He's exactly what they were in need of; compared to Van Wolfswinkel who was sold to Norwich for a really high fee, he's a much more mobile and quick forward, and allows the wingers to participate a lot more in the play.

Van Wolfswinkel was always a guy who netted goals for Sporting, but he didn't do much more than that. Fredy has done both so far and the transfer of VH turned out to be solved way faster than expected. Fredy's been one of their best players so far with their fantastic start of the season. :-)

^^ Good. I'm glad, because he was very well-loved at Seattle (though in truth the fans realized he was too good to stay).

I hope he does really well. :)

Yea, I'm sure he's getting love by his new fans as well pretty damn quick with his performances thus far. He's just on a loan though, but if he continues to perform well, they'll probably put in an offer for him.

Group F & J look the toughest, but I think J just edges it.

Is this the last time we'll see spurs in this draw? Only time will tell.
