Economical Doping

Yet another football season is over with contiued succes for many of Europes top clubs. Clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester City and Bayern Munich. These teams are no doubt all in top 10 of the best clubs in the world.

But here lies the question, becuase thes clubs are also known to get an extraordinary amount of money from persons not affiliated with the club. Some of these donations have been so big, that whole teams have been changed for better players. Manchester City is a perfect example of this, in the starting 11 you can only find one player that was in the club before the giant contribution from the Saudi-arabian oil-sheik came about 6 years ago. They were clear from the beginning that they wanted to put the 18 best players of the world in the same team and during these 6 years, in this period they have a amount that are in the billions.
According to me this is far from fair. I would relate this to cyclers doping themselves for the Tour de France, therefor this is economical doping.
The solution? Well i imaging there is a lot of things UEFA will consider before they will towards my solution. But i am fairly certain that the only way to avoid clubs spending money they have not earned themselves is to create a transferlimit. This would not only make clubs to manage their transferbudget more carefully, but will make a key aspect of the sport, finance, more equal to all clubs
What do you think?

A limit of 50m per season or something would only see City offering huge wagers to convince players to join them. Clubs like Southampton can soon become in contention for 5, 6, 7, place in the EPL after sales of Lallana Shaw even possibly Osvaldo Schnerdeilen Chambers
