Well done Drogba! Lukaku should keep his head up and take comfort from the fact that the best players in the world have missed penalties during crucial times. And in all honesty, I would blame Ramires more than Lukaku in that game.

^I wouldn't blame Ramires either really. Sh*t happens and players sometimes make mistakes when tackling and get sent off. Other than his error, Ramires did great with his passing, counterattaking, and defending. But overall, Bayern were just the better team. Also, Luiz did the same thing as Drogba.

@Vendetta, oh so I guess it is no one's fault that Chelsea lost. Penalties by their very nature require someone to not score. Lukaku could have easily made it had Neuer gone the other way. You say yourself that it was an "error" and a "mistake" by Ramires. So how is it not his fault with that unnecessary tackle? And when he got sent off his "passing, counterattaking, and defending" were missed. It WAS his fault, more than anybody else in that Chelsea team. The difference is I can say that since I am not a Chelsea fan. You CAN'T because it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE for you to ever criticize your team.

I didn't take it as a defeat, I'm proud of all our players. Everyone did great individually and as a team we deserved a win and were close to it till the last seconds. Our young players showed a great potential last night against the last season Champions and who are considered the best team in the world by many. Torres & Hazard's goals were amazing. unlucky we couldn't finish some real good chances which should have made us close down the game earlier. and after Ramires's red card at the 85th min. we had to defend and play on counter attacks because there was nothing left to do against them. It was a good game overall and I wish we meet them again in the Champions league. :)

@TheGame: Well first, his first yellow was not deserved. Second, players are human. They make bad tackles sometimes. A referee's poor decision making can also be a much bigger fault than one of our playerr's getting red carded. For example, Dante should have been sent off. Like I said, sh*t happens sometimes.

@Vendetta, People use the "sh*t happens" idiom to denote something that is inevitable in nature. What Ramires did was not inevitable as he was in total control of his action and he deservedly got sent off. He is more to blame than any other member of that Chelsea squad for putting his team at such a disadvantage. I do not see how you can just brush it off and act as if he wasn't at fault.

@TheGame: I'm not in the mood of arguing with you, and especially in a thread like this. So I guess we'll just stick to our different opinions.

@Vendetta, I am DONE arguing with you as it is impossible for you to concede a point against anything that has to do with Chelsea which is why it is a waste of my time. And don't forget who started the arguing.

@Alex, i actually think that Bayern Deserved the Win.

and also the one who made a mistake was Neuer with that Hazard goal, the only thing i hated was that Chelsea played way to much defence just like with Manchester United

now to get on topic, Drogba is right, he had courage to take that penalty, he is going to learn from that mistake and become a better player. and also David Luiz

@Ven, yea Refs are messed up these days especially in the EPL... sometimes it goes against your team and sometimes it benefits your team. but that Ramires tackle was just really bad

^Dude get your facts straight you prolly didn't watch the match, we only played defensive after the red card which is at the 85th min.. and scoring at the last 7 seconds was totally lucky. our players played better individually.. What do I expect from a rival supporter. That is your opinion though and probably many Chelsea's haters, because of their club's inferiority complex but with all respect, I don't really care much.

@TheGame:

"I am DONE arguing with you as it is impossible for you to concede a point against anything that has to do with Chelsea which is why it is a waste of my time.

I can definitely agree with someone who says something to do against Chelsea, but I find arguing about this very pointless. This was nothing more than a friendly final (obviously meant more because Pep v Mou), with a bad moment for Lukaku. Arguing about Mourinho compared to SAF made sense, but this if it carries on will be pointless.

"And don't forget who started the arguing."

Yup, I started it. It's my fault, but an argument can also be stopped by the one who started it.

@Wayne: Yeah, that referee in the game was horrible. While Ramires did deserve a card for his tackle, his first card was not deserved. Also, Dante should have been sent off. Despite the horrible officiating, it was still an exciting game with exciting goals.

@Alex: Amen. Its difficult to argue with rival fans at some points. Especially when your club is the most hated club in Europe (rightfully so, though).

@Alex i watched the whole match, and the only times i seen Chelsea on the other side was Counter attacks, but obviously since Bayern kept Possession Chelsea were mostly in their own half. Im talking about before Red Card, after that even my Team would have played defensive. what my point was that they make the game boring..
*"*we only played defensive after the red card which is at the 85th min" <this made me laugh

@Ven

Contrary to your opinion, I find Barcelona and Real Madrid to be top two most hated clubs in Europe. United and Chelsea would probably be next though.

^Barcelona are only hated for their dives and Real Madrid for their overpricing of players. I quite like Barelona and Madrid for their rich history. Chelsea on the other hand have it all. Overspending club, corrupt owner always on the spotlight when the term corrupt is brought in football, a captain that shags his friends ex-girlfriend, our cocky manager, a ton of attackers (we signed Atsu today), and our 'park the bus style' (which only stayed with us against possession teams). Oh, and Ashley Cole. Can't forget him.

EDIT: Plus, if there is any controversy in the Champions League, it usually involves Chelsea. We are a very movie scripted club.
