The point of the excercise is to see where you think you need to strengthen and how good of a scout you are.

Disposing the deadwood:

Squillaci, Djourou, Santos, Bendtner, Denilson, Arshavin (I hate to say it), Diaby (sadly), Chamakh, Park & Gervinho. I could probably generate just under £25 million from the sales (Judging by transfermarkt). Most of the money will probably go to the club/board and I would get a minor addition to the already £35 million I have. Lets say £10 million is added on to my transfer budget. I now have £45 million.

Players to buy:

Yaya Sanago - 20 - ST - Auxerre

This is already in the works in real life. Sanago is a talented young French striker with great potential. I would seal the deal and confirm the signing. I would give him a run in all the capital one cup and a few of the FA cup games. He would also get a few chances in the PL if he impresses me.

He will cost me £500, 000. I now have £44.5 million.

Ignazio Abate - 26 - RB - AC Milan

Pacey modern day attacking full back with immense stamina. He can provide dangerous through balls and deliver good crosses. Great work ethic and solid defensive qualities as you would expect from an Italian.

Player plus cash deal to acquire the services of Abate. Sagna plus £7 million. I now have £37.5 million.

Lars Bender - 24 - CM/CDM - Bayer Leverkusen

Efficient, hard working and versatile. Your typical German footballer.

FORMATIONS:

The 1st Formation would be the standard 4-4-2, emphasized for counter-attacking, with Eriksen and Dembele able to get forward when needed to help Moutinho feed balls through to Bale and Lukaku.

The 2nd Formation would be more possession-based, operating with a back 3, and Walker and Dembele expected to hold their ground defensively, but also operate as part of a 6-man perimeter for Moutinho to use creatively. Lots of interlaced passing, with Tello used as a link-up striker with Son and Bale to allow for greater chance creation in midfield.

IF YOU GUYS WERE WONDERING WHY I NEVER POSTED MINE, IT'S BECAUSE YOU RUINED THE IDEA BY INCLUDING SALES. The idea was for everyone to have the same SET amount of spending money (i.e. 35m) so we could see how you'd use it at the moment. In any case, it's my fault for not being more clear.
