Brilliant signing in my opinion and that too at a very good value. I now understand why Jose did not rush the January transfer window. This transitional phase is excellent with most of the team comprising of youngsters who will be grown into fine footballers(not that they aren't already). Costa, Lukaku and I would want Etoo to stay a lil longer. He still has the firepower to score/assist. Torres sadly has failed to live up to anything close to his standards. After watching CFC vs Stoke, CFC vs Newcastle, CFC vs Everton this season we would know what really Chelsea has missed. It is not the gamelplay that matters, its about finishing those half chances(or OPEN chances in some cases). All the best to Costa and Chelsea and hope they come out stronger next season. I'm sure Jose would be itching to get his hands on some silverware come season! KTBFFH!

For me its a bit of a gamble. He is relatively young but only this season has he managed a decent scoring record. All his past season he scored under 10 goals in the league. one great season doesnt mean he will remain this consistant in a new league under a different manager and tactics.

A Huge win for Chelsea, with Matic + Costa the team level has completely changed and Costa was the one to choose because he does not need possession to score, score with both legs, beast at headers, impressive physically and clinical finishing, other than that he is hungry, very hungry. Hope for Chelsea his hunger will continue, and the main thing, hope he adapts to Mourinho.

Oh he'll adapt for sure. Mourinho's and Simeone's styles aren't that different.

Im not talking about adapting tactically, i was talking about the man and his troubles with his forwards.
Playing for Simeone makes you fight for the Club and specially for the coach, but i think Mourinho is enough smart to not ruin their relationship.

Right, im not happy seing Costa going to Chelsea and it may affect my judgement. They have probably talked about everything important for both sides...

Costa,Mandzukic,Lukaku will be enough for striker problem for chelsea. Sell mikel and adjust luiz as CDM and bring back zouma on luiz place. Azpilicueta will be LB for another seaso and give cole a contract and bring back bertrand. its amazing if this all thing happened in club this summer and chelsea will fight for title again and also win it
