Who should replace Sagna for you? The Ivorian or the Frenchman? From what I've seen in the World Cup Aurier's quite the talent for Ivory Coast. As for Debuchy I don't know much about him. So who would you like and why?

Aurier is far superior. His crossing is fantastic and he is built like a tank. Only 21 too! Would be a perfect replacement for Sagna.

aurier is very similar to sagna, and young, and would be way cheaper than debuchy. But debuchy to be honest is very very solid, and very talented at going forward. Wouldn't mind getting either.

Cuadrado is not RB... Aurier looks like Sagna, great passer, good for Arsenal.

great signing. RB was never a weak spot for us with sagna, so the best way to deal with his departure was to sign someone of the same level, with EPL and CL experience, a couple of years younger. Great business from wenger, this transfer window is probably the best arsenal summer I've followed this closely so far.

@arsenalgunners The Nice press (where he plays) were saying a few days ago that it was done already. So maybe, it's probably like Debuchy, done a long time ago, and they just waiting for paperwork or something to make an official anouncement.

Except for Piszcek, Debuchy was the one I hoped the most for to replace Sagna. Though Sagna in his prime was world class, at this given time Debuchy is superior to Sagna and in my opinion Aurier aswell.

@dephased agreed, I think Piszcek was an unrealistic target, and from what was available, Debuchy was the better choice.
