I grew up with Manchester United, and David Beckham was my idol... This clip was posted by FR's facebook today and it brought back so many beautiful memories...

Some said he was overrated, some said he was just a celebrity on the field... who give the damn sh!t...

He was the only reason I followed MLS :D

I remember I watched his last game just for him. So many ppl are calling him overrated, that soon he's becoming underrated.

True, he is a role model for professionalism... not only by working hard and knowing what your abilites and limitness are, but also the way he dealt with controversial craps.

The best example was how Capello dropped him when he made his move to LA Galaxy, but then due to his professionlism, Capello picked him again and helped to win La Liga.

How many player out there that has the look, the publicity and success on the field, haters only hate him for "being overrated"...

Not to mention he has his own football academy and has helped so many poor childrens

Yeah overrated player who played for Manchester United , Real Madrid and had a beast of a time at AC Milan. People just talk out their a**hole. He's a legend regardless!

How can anyone hate Beckham ? He is just great lad off the field and on the field he was World Class pro with great work ethics and respect to opponent .

Unites_hatea_blues, just because a player players for multiple legendary clubs doesn't make him a legendary player. Victor Valdes has played for Barcelona and Manchester United so by your logic he's a legend? He's simply overrated because of the fact that he's English. I'm not hating because I'm a city fan but it's the sad truth.

Legend. one of my heroes in football. :( will never forget his on target crosses and set pieces.

He was an amazing player. He is one of my favorite players ever. He was an exceptional footballer. Not overrated at all, some of the best free kicks ever.
