Culture Shock: Food

So, a new kind of thread again, here we go with Culture Shock, a thread in wich we compare our difference based on the country in wich we live. Today, we take a look at the food you eat. I'll go ahead:

Breakfast: Cereal or toast most of time, once or twice in a month, I might get egg or pancake if my sis or mom chose to make some. :P

Diner: Most of the time, I simply eat hot cereal with toast, we also eat egg and beacon and pasta from time to time as well as pizza in even rarer occasion. :D

Supper: Thats the most consistent meal of the day for me and the more varied one, we most of the time eat meat with salad and vegetable and sometime we got pasta, pizza, stew or other similar food. Nothing too complex though. :)

So, what about you guys, what do you eat?

Breakfast: bagels and cream cheese or toast

Lunch: Pasta

Dinner: I make excellent pizza (from scratch) so I make that whenever I have time, which isn't most nights. Usually lunch pasta leftovers.

I also snack all day on fruit and low-grade junk food.

India's food culture is the most varied out there by far.

We eat roti mainly, you can google the word roti and it'll show you. It's made of flour. Along with some cooked vegetables. Or we eat rice along with curry or pulses.

Anybody who knows any Indian will relate when I say we make the best food.

Morning - any crunchy cereal mixed with a fruity yogurt.
Midday - pizza (Chicago town type with a deep base and filled crust) or pasta.
Evening - whatever mum cooks....normally something complimented with veg.

Drinks - orange juice (ever had anything more thirst quenching) or beer.

breakfast: buttered bagel or cereal.

lunch: these days, just curries it gets really boring i never really was a big fan of curries and stuff like the rest of my family. like it more when my sister cooks coz she makes good pasta.

dinner: normally just skip dinner or have cereal if i can but if my mum is around I'm forced to have lunch leftovers.

in between: whatever random biscuits there are. mostly like mr. kipling viennese whirls but fox's or jammie dodgers are ok when there's no viennese whirls.

If it wasnt for diet and health, I'd not only be on the same line with you, but also add burgers.
