Probably the two best contenders for the Ballon d'Or I've ever seen. But Messi's gonna win it though. Despite Ronaldo's hard work and success, Messi went ballistic this season with his goal-scoring.

It's not always a common thing to see the record for most goals in a calendar year broken. Ronaldo does strive to be the best and works extremely hard, but I believe Messi works even harder. It's not easy to break Muller's record!

If Messi doesn't win it in the same year he broke a 40-year old, worldwide scoring record, then it don't mean much. ;)
