He's our 4th highest goalscorer. Here's the record.

  1. Amancio - 155 goals in 471 matches
  2. Pirri - 171 in 561
  3. Emilio Butragueno - 171 in 463
  4. Francisco Gento - 179 in 599
  5. Hugo Sanchez - 208 in 282
  6. Ferenc Puskas - 242 in 262
    4. Cristiano Ronaldo - 250 in 243
  7. Carlos Santillana - 289 in 645
  8. Alfredo Di Stefano - 305 in 392
  9. Raul Gonzalez - 323 in 741

Here's a video of all his goals so far. If you want to watch just the special ones, start at 7:11. All his golazos start then. The ones before have quite a few penalties and tap-ins, but after the 111th goal-ish mark, he starts showing off. :D

Wow. What a legend. Proper powerhouse... and IMO I don't think Bale will ever come to a scoring record like that.

Probably not, but he's still incredibly talented, so I think he'll come close to averaging 0.7 or 0.8 goals a game, which is still insane for any player, not just a winger. I mean, the guy had been deprived of a preseason and has been injured for 50% of the season, and still averaged a goal every other match. I heard that Bale resembles our old legend Francisco Gento a lot, and Gento's our 7th highest scorer, so maybe Bale will be around that mark in 7-8 years. :)

^ Perhaps :) You have a point but Ronaldo is Ronaldo... even Puskas couldn't beat more goals : games! Bale could get top 10 if he decides to stay at Real

Damn right, but remember that Puskas arrived at the age of 31. Ronaldo arrived when he was 24, so much younger. Puskas averaged more than a goal-per-game at Budapest Honved as a midfielder. He averaged 84 goals in 85 games for Hungary as a central midfielder. He only converted to striker after coming to Real Madrid because Di Stefano took his favored position. :)

But since that was back in the '50's and '60's, we can safely say that Ronaldo has surpassed him, and by far. He's undoubtedly one of the greatest ever. By the end of his career, we can safely put him in the top 10 greatest ever. :)

^True :) Puskas was something different. What I would really like to see is those legends play with the modern footballs :D

Haha, that's something everyone wants to see. I guess that's why we always separate the best players into categories of decades, because football is constantly changing. I guess that, so far, the best players of the 2010's have been Lionel Messi, Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta, Cristiano Ronaldo, Andrea Pirlo, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Philipp Lahm, and similar players. :)
