The UEFA Best Player in Europe award was originally created to bring back the Ballon d'Or from Sepp Blatter's hands. It has now been re-named as the "UEFA Men's Player of the Year Award" since the Ballon d'Or returns to France Football.

He scored in the final breaking some records, otherwise top scorer in the whole Champions league season, scoring most goals in the knockout stages......but yea totally won that award because of the trophy and nice teeth, no skilz pure luck he has been just a lucky guy his whole life it's so unfair

Well deserved and that is coming from more of a Messi fan.

Sarcasm aside, have to agree with DarthFooty, well deserve for Ronaldo, he has been unbelievable this season. ;) He can thank Zidane rotation policy as well. It helped maintaining its level high in all competition. :)
