Coventry Manager on Arsene Wenger

Before last night's match, Coventry City Manager Steven Pressley had this to say about the Arsenal Manager:

That was really great to read. As fans, sometimes we forget just lucky we are to have a man of principle at our helm. He has his faults but he is a man to be respected above all else.

Youre using footballing grounds as a way to take the piss off a club, which isnt really how it works. And i might just add that PLENTY of Arsenal fans are plastics aswell when they do the same. Before i go into reasoning why, may i ask which part of England are you from, City and District.

@ Dephsed

and Do you really think I will give my personal informations for someone who's using the term "Plastic" in his argument? I will leave that kind of a childish argument to my grandsons when they are 10. So you both can have this kind of conversation such as: "you are plastic" "NO you are plastic" "WHAT! YOU ARE PLASTIC!" "OH! HELL. NO.! YOU.ARE.PLASTIC!" and Finally my Grandsons will give up and you will win the "INTERNET". :)

A proper naughty geezer arent ya, well if you werent a plastic you wouldnt need to try to hide where you lived as i would have known you were from Hammersmith, Fulham, Kensington or Chelsea. Ever given someone a Chelsea grid btw?

@Dephased I think Alex is one of the best Chelsea fans here with who you can talk normally..

Well the Chelsea keyboard warriors on here isnt really the guys to represent proper Chelsea supporters from the area. That is except some of course.

@Dephased Please.. No thanks, I'm old enough to be a keyboard warrior. I will leave that honour for you. and to answer your question after you changed the subject slowly, I don't have to be specifically from anywhere to play, support or watch football. I can do that nevertheless. It's not even an argument. I'm a traveler and I don't belong to any country. I am who I am and I refuse to be related to any group in this world and its society. which will take us to a whole other long topic that I'm not sure you would even be able to understand at this age.

The reason of all of this is not to piss you off or anyone on purpose, It's just that I've had enough with some Arsenal fans the last 2 weeks, you can tell from what I commented if you read it all again. Probably I will forget about all of this tomorrow when I'm calm. anyways. Have a good night.

Well you are realting yourself to a group in Chelsea which represent the area of Fulham and the nearby parts i London. And no you cannot be from anywhere and support football if that team is from your own country as the team is there to represent that area of the country.

And the award for lamest joke ever goes to .... drum roll, Lodatz- for an exceptionally dry and moronic joke. The bitterness is so clear and so fresh. It's almost like your club hasn't won a major trophy in 21 years. Oh, wait.. Anyways, congratz on the lame joke award. I know you'll win a many more.. Your square head just keeps churning them out..

@messi, lodatz had his comment removed in the Inter , Milan thread for saying the same (joke??).. He is just a sad and bitter little man. He starts the problems, then acts like a victim. It is pathetic.
@Dephased- In what universe is a capital one cup a major trophy? I guess any trophy is a major trophy when you usually win nothing. Maybe they should make a 5th place trophy specially for 5purs.

Hey everyone STFU!

How did this thread morph into a shouting match.

@Alex is cool peoples so everyone just chill. He was only hitting back at my "impoliteness" regarding Jose Mourinho. I can take the banter. You all take yourselves too seriously sometimes. Have a listen to this.

It's all right brotha :D

@Wolfie in every universe it is, youre just another un appreciating fan who thinks that football is about supporting the most successful team and boast about it. The league cup is just as major as the FA Cup just without the glamour and without the non league teams. It grants European football and top class team play there, hence being a major trophy. Saying it isnt is like saying the Europa League isnt a major trophy.

@Foota- This would not happen if this Forum was moderated properly.

@D-Capitol one cup is a cup for weak teams who dont have any chance of winning any other trophies. In fact most people who follow football outside england would not have even heard of it. You dont know anything about me or the reason I support Inter so dont go rumbling your mouth. I could also start making up reasons on why you are an arsenal fan, but that would be really childish..

" I could also start making up reasons on why you are an arsenal fan, but that would be really childish."

Why stop now? Really Childish is pretty much all you're capable of, mate. ;)

Go ahead, prove me right. AGAIN.

@Foot: to be fair, I can appreciate why you're defensive over the attacks upon Wenger, but, I think you're someone who can appreciate that if Arsenal were NOT in 1st place, this season, no-one would be defending Wenger at all. It remains to be seen if he can bring home the bacon this season, and he may well do it (I'm a doubter who has been made to shush, this season), but suppose he does not?

Would another year without silverware warrant continued loyalty? Is he REALLY on the 'right path', and someone to be proud of? I'm not asking with the intent of proving otherwise, but, it's funny how quickly the Wenger Out calls have turned to cheers, just because of one season's (unexpected) success.

@Dephased: Honestly, I'm not sure which is sillier: the insinuation that the League Cup is not a major honour, or his ignorance of the fact that Spurs have finished 4th twice in the last 4 seasons.

But hey, it's not like facts were ever a big part of his agenda.
