''He is in the new club , new league and starts a new chapter in his new career with new image . I don't judge him on his acts of the past .''
Remember this next time you will want to whine about Suarez.
As a former footballer for over 6 years in my life, I can tell you that when you play football you are out of your mind sometimes, especially when you really want to win. Even though I'm a calm person I remember one time one player tackled me and almost injured me, I went on him like crazy and almost want to punch him in the face I was so pissed at him. These kind of things happen in football. I say Zabaleta is the one to blame here and not Costa.
@Alex: completely agree, happens to me too.
But it's not an excuse to loose your head all the time and consistently being nasty towards your opponents, that's being a jerk. I think Costa should change that otherwise he will be hated.
@Dynastian: what Costa did was wrong, but as many other members already said, things like these can happen in the heat of the moment. however, I think you're overreacting, because costa clearly didn't choke him as seen in the video, he touched his neck for like one second. once again, yellow for both is justified

Let me get this straight. Its ok to overreact in the heat of the moment ... meaning Suarez is justified for all the bites? His teeth touched someones neck for like one second. People overreact for no reason I guess. Costa started a fight, yellow right there, and he grabbed someone by the next which should have been a free upgrade to a red card. Knowing that Zabaleta got an undeserved yellow in the first half, the ref should have been more responsible, and not hand in that red. You can protect Costa all you want but he acting like a thug right there and should have been punished but w/e I guess. Ref's decisions arent always right, and go either way sometimes. It was just Chelsea's lucky day.

Again not sure what Suarez has anything to do with this .
Costa is Chelsea player and he is representing our club off and on the pitch . Just like when Suarez became Liverpool player , Liverpool fans knew that Suarez is a dirty player and cheats before he joined them , but they did not give much importance to it until he started to damage club's image more and more . AND YOU ARE ALso just like other Barca fans have turned a blind eye on his past , because he is terrific footballer and you think this is his new chance to fix behaviors and things should be different .
However, You expect me to bash and criticize Costa for things he did in Atletico . Let me ask you , Are you planing on calling Suarez c*nt after his first dive for Barca or racial slur or perhaps another bite ? I am sure you won't wait long for a dive, but will you call him dirty player ?
Costa is known to be aggressive player , but he has recently came to our club , so far I have not seen anything wrong that he has done . If he does things like he did in Atletico i will criticize him , but now he has my full support . And the crazy amount of testosterone he has is actually helping him to play even better . Angry , Aggressive and determined Costa is what I want to see , of course without causing harm to others .
P.S. Wayne Rooney was once like that but now he is quiet like school boy on the first day of school .

@machester
Did you see Suarez being provoked before those bites ? I did not see a single reason for Suarez to react in such way and to even bite someone , that is still shocking . It was three times and out of no where for no obvious reason at all !!
Something clicked in his head during those moments , and after second bite , he should have got checked . There are appropriate clinics and procedures for people like him .
And again please watch the video who started it and who put hands on who first . I am tired of arguing about this . Video shows it , no need to make sh*t up and talk out of the a*ss . No one but Zabaleta and Chelsea or Costa haters are arguing about this . Pundits , commentators and etc all agreed that Zabaleta initiated conflict and yellow for both was deserved ... ..
@Marcus
No one is making sh*t up, watch the video instead of telling others to do so. As Dynastian stated earlier, Zabaleta's hand was behind his neck as an apology for the foul. No one but Costa's haters are arguing about this? I don't give a flying f*** about Costa or Chelsea but as a 3rd neut I say he deserve a red. If you want to be blind and say otherwise that's cool, you got the right of your opinion. Commentators agreed that Zabaleta initiated it? I watched it on ESPN, and their commentators didn't say so that's that argument is invalid. I wonder who is making sh*t up now?
As for Suarez he wasnt provoked? Have you ever watched Italy play? They play rough and dirty to its limits. I wonder if you know who Materazzi is and where he is from. If you did, you wouldnt say w/e you did in the first paragraph. Zidane accident?

"^Feels like referees favour chelsea."
Really? Ever since I came back from this forum, all I've been seeing is these "Chelsea sucks", "Bus parkers!!"I.
Honestly, I think everyone is sick and tired of you One Sided Opinion.
And if you ACTUALLY read the rules, you would know that you're not allowed to make comments like that unless you state the reason WHY.
Think before you speak.
chelsearox10 my friend, please know that samuel999 has been banned due to his abusive language.
Straight red for Costa. You cannot raise your hands against another person. Ronaldo got a red for stroking someone's face, choking should be an instant red.
