Conte leaving sooner than thought?

I've saw quite a lot of information to convince me that Conte will leave in about another season or two, and after debating with a few Chelsea fans on this site, I've decided to make a thread.

  • Longest time as manager was three years, which was at Juventus. Yes, there was a few problems he had with the team in terms of form in the Champions League, but even with that, he wasn't sacked at Juventus.

  • Family. His family lives in Italy, and although they visit him a lot, and he visits them at his time in Italy, he has admitted that he missed them, and vice versa.

  • Homesick rumours. To be honest, personally he doesn't look sick, but since he is new in England, it's potentially true. I really doubt this, but it's another reason.

  • Rumors to Inter. This one is believable. Inter's stakeholders have gotten a massive boost recently, and as new sacking schemes that seem to happen a lot recently, Poli could lose his job. Bradley went to Swansea, Zola to Birmingham... This makes it more believable.

  • Chelsea's nature. A few years now, and Chelsea have still been sacking managers right left and center. Conte probably won't go now, but after one or two seasons, I can see this happening.

  • Tendancy to lose dressing room. It's happened even with Conte ( Costa), and this is just more of an indication. Ivanovic said he would rather lose a game with Mou than win

Some of it probably isn't true, and if you want to prove me wrong, feel free to show your side of the argument.

He can surely be their next Argentinian star in the upcoming years.

@Amir - You call him a flop because people compare him to messi?

Well hes young and argentinian, and hes really good but Who is overrating him. Yea comparing him to messi is pretty crazy considering hes 23 and nowhere near the level Messi was at that age.
However by your logic, Martial would be a flop becuase he is compared to Thierry Henry.

I just dont think you actually have any evidence that he is a flop.

A flop is someone who usually someone who a) showed potential and sucked b) bought for alot of money and played terrible, two examples would be a) Robinho or b)Fernano torres @ chelsea

  • I dont see how you could compare Dybala to either of those players

You call him a flop because people compare him to messi?

And the fact he's highly rated.

However by your logic, Martial would be a flop becuase he is compared to Thierry Henry.

Martial was and is doing wonders at United in my opinion. He provides flair and attacking intent, and he is someone who I rate quite highly. He is also younger than Dybala. He can be as good as Henry, as Henry at Juventus was a FLOP. I don't think that he will surpass Henry, but it is more likely than Dybala surpassing Messi.

I just dont think you actually have any evidence that he is a flop.

Evidence as in stats? It's more of my own opinion, and when he retires, he will be another Di Santo for me. Too much talent come and go but some stay. Unfortunately, I don't see Dybala STAYING.

My interpretation of flop is be completely unsuccessful; fail totally. Whilst he is not failing, he is sure behind Higuain and even Mandzukic in terms of being a good ST. In today's game, Mandzukic is much better as a ST than Dybala, more efficient, and in the league Serie A requires strength, Dybala surely lacks that comparing to his teammates.

On Fifa 17, he has 86 shooting. He is not even top 10 Serie A goalscorer.

There is world class players like Messi, then they are being compared with Dybala. I respect your, Gonzi's and Joze's opinions on him, but for me, he is a flop. If you were wondering, I do watch my fair share of Italian football.

Dybala is not a flop for me but I doubt he is the next Messi either, pherhap the next Higuain or Aguero instead, that would already be quite a decent level to reach. :D

Talking about video game, I hate how Dybala a Second Striker in PES. :(

@Amir

You're judging a player based on their statistics in a video game? Your argument just lost what little credibility you had in the first place.

Back on Conte topic, just saw that in Skysport, kinda worrisome, don't you think? :(

Chelsea are set to replace Antonio Conte with former Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel. Blues director Marina Granovskaia is fed up with Antonio Conte and wants a change. Tuchel and Luis Enrique, who are both currently without a job, have been considered to replace the Italian, but the German is favoured because of his better grasp of English. (Sport Bild)

Replacing Conte with Luis Enrique is suicide. Why can't clubs show more patience towards their managers?

@JuanMata10 I really hope it is, but seriously, even if there is a 1% of it happening, its way too much. :(

Dybala was unrealistic as you said and you ended up getting Morata haha.

Dynastian98

Actually stats are based off real life. My comment has more credibility than yours, for all I know.

@Amir Nah but Fifa are terrible at giving stat. The guys doing them are not football specialist, thats for sure. They are only interested in the money and their metagame. :P
