According to a few Dutch new papers , Ajax and Tottenham Hotspur negotiate a possible transfer of Christian Eriksen to London.
Ajax asks 15 million for Eriksen who has a contract till, 2014 Tottenham offered Ajax 8 million.
It is expected that the director of football affairs Marc Overmars and colleague Franco Baldini will shake hands on an amount of ten million.

Eriksen developed good at Ajax and is ready for the next step.

@Footaholic Eriksen is not a supertalent like Isco or Gotze but still has very much potential, and dont forget he is only 21.
The reason why people hyped this kid was because he played a very good match with Denmark against England couple years ago.
He was hyped as a supertalent but he wasn't so he could only dissapoint people.
Almost everey Ajax match i watched Eriksen was super important with his great vision and great passes.
Just dont give him up yet he's gonna get there!:D

@jvh that is because Everedise is not as famous as La Liga or BundesLiga!

@jvh: I think another part of it, too, is that there's only so much one player can do, and Eriksen by this point is head and shoulders above the players around him. It's not easy to stay focused 100% all the time, especially if you then also become a target for double-marking, and if the rest of your team is not on your level, to pick up the slack.

Even Bale went missing in multiple games last season, and who could argue with the name he made for himself?

I think with a new club, and a higher standard of football around him (both in his team and in the opposition), we'll start to see him blossom again, as he won't be expected to be the difference-maker every game, as he perhaps might have become at Ajax.

I haven't followed Ajaz as closely as I would like. Am I way off the mark, on that?

@lodatz That is spot on mate, Eriksen is too good for the Erediviisie and needs a new challenge and i think that the premier league and Tottenham the perfect step forward is for this player.

Damn Eriksen definitely worth ard 20m+. What a bargain.
