@Rama I know that Mourinho loves Essien, but Roman is trying to get rid of the aged players with the exception of Terry, Lampard & Cech. We had a very tough season trying to manage with our young new signings, luckily they got used to play together without any difficulties. So i really doubt that Essien will be in our starting XI next season.

1- Hilario.
2- Ferreira.
3- Benayoun.
4- Malouda.
5- Essien (Maybe).

Sigh... I know this isn't important to non-Chelsea fans but it annoys me when it says (insert manager here)'s first signing. Our managers do not make the transfers. They only control the team. Our sporting director, Michael Emenalo is the one who does the transfers.
