hahahahaha quikzyy, you are so naive sometimes. Arsenal were NEVER interested in Falcoa. A reporter just asked Wenger if he would like to have him and he replied with a "yes"
@Footaholic exactly.
If someone asked an ipswich manager 'would you want Messi & Ronaldo ?' and he answered yes, doesn't mean he was interested in buying him!
Roman is business minded, but I believe he is using Chelsea as his own little fantasy team. Don't get me wrong, he loves Chelsea and I have quotes from the board, chairman, and apperantly the England squad to prove he loves Chelsea and their players. If anything, it's the board that are mostly business wise. Just look at Shevcenko and Torres. They're enough to prove that big money moves don't always work. It als proves Roman sucks at transfers. It's Michael Emenalo who does our transfers. Plus, FFP recently kicked in and splashing 40 million just makes it worse for us.
If it comes to attracting more fans, then why not buy Son? South Korean who have a large, LARGE fanbase and much cheaper. I'm also sure he had the same talent as Falcao when he was Son's age. Of course though, Golden might correct me. Same could be said about him bringing us success.
As for other clubs spending money nearly as much as us sometimes, I agree. Chelsea have always been this hated cub ever since Roman came. We just have to go through it. Just look at Real Madrid's spending sprees. Yet still, the never get hated on. Barcelona also have almost more flop signings than us. You just got to brush the hate off.
@Vendetta
I think Chelsea have been hated because they have been seen to "unfairly" replace Arsenal as United's top contender in the past decade. And then of course, is City in the last two seasons.
@Vendetta,
Nah, no correcting this time, haha. Plus, I totally agree. +1.
Falcao OVERRATED.
