I've got a feeling Ake is going to get some good game time this season as Luis's backup.

^Especially since Mourinho talks about rotating the squad to be able to compete on all 4 fronts. he'll probably play Azpilicueta on the left and Ivanovich on the right before Ake gets the chance though. But as a substitute, yeah, why not!

Yeah, I don't see him starting much (unless it's the League Cup) but he could be a good sub if we've already won the game.

This is all a dream, right? No way Chelsea have a squad this good, right?

@V That's the result of our transition period and it's time to win some trophies! This squad is very strong and also I rate our youth very high, players like Boga, Aké, Brown, Bamford, Traore etc. They are going to be our future after this young squad.

Chelsea's 'transition period' is over. Now there should be no excuses on the lack of trophies.

@Dynastian yes indeed mate. Last season we didn't have a proper CDM and ST. Still though you need a bit of luck in Football so nothing is for sure. There are a lot of strong teams in the EPL such as Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Spurs but last season we didn't have problem against any of them in fact it was always against bottom of the table teams. Hopefully we will be more clinical this year.

@V One thing more: (Cech - Ivanovic - Willian - Ramires - Salah - Drogba - MVG - Zouma) <- This is a real depth. Would have been better if we signed another backup striker but still I'm totally satisfied with what we have. I mean..WHO WOULDN'T! :))

@Alex: Yeah, now that we've got Costa and Fabregas, beating smaller clubs will be a cinch. And thank god for our depth! I still have nightmares of seeing a bench of Bosingwa, Benayoun, Marin, Meireles, Turnbull and Mikel. Thankfully, those are only nightmares. :P
