Mou will have some dificult choices to do, impressive squad !! Chelsea will have one more player, Maybe Higuain cause Rooney is quite an impossible mission.
This team can go far in cups and CL with Mou, for EPL i don't know maybe 2nd or 3rd.
Good post.

Sorry for the lag guys It needs a bit of time to load, like 10 seconds. :)

@tiki_taka

I think any manager would have a trouble with our midfielders rotation. But I trust Mourinho :) As for Higuain With all my respect to him and Real Madrid fans, He is not my kinda striker and I doubt we will go for him. I believe Chelsea can win the title this season with this squad. It's not going to be easy because you never know in the EPL. But, I hope so. :)

@AlexBatak

Don't worry mate, I doubt Mou will buy Higuain. Mourinho didn't really want appreciate his playing style much, and Higuain was only played by Mourinho because of his wages and his reputation in Madrid and Spain as a frequent goalscorer.

I'm completely with you on the part you said about Chelsea looking ready to win the EPL next season with this squad, but I feel like you might need a striker backing up Lukaku. It's just an emergency case of if Lukaku gets injured (hope he doesn't). Because Torres, despite what Mou says, isn't the "hard-working" type that Mourinho prefers. Ba doesn't seem like Mou's type either. So perhaps another striker, and you guys are set for glory. :)

^ Chill man. Lukaku has the strength of Akinfenwa and the ability of Benteke, or better. You're good man.

This years Premier League is impedictible, im thinking that any team in the big 5 can win. The start of the season will be decisive, last year Chelsea had a good start of the season with Di Mateo, until the famous United Match.
I think Chelsea season could be diferent if they have won that match. Next year in EPL, it will be about details.
I regret to not have any competition in la Liga, the winner was known at january last year, last season was really boring for us and for players. Hope next year we will get some competition.

@Alex

Figured out why Jose showed "interest" in Higuain. It's a ploy. A ploy to ensure that Higuain's market value goes up after Chelsea show "interest", so that rivals Arsenal can't buy Higuain. The thing is, Arsenal are only willing to spend so much on Higuain. With Sir Alex out of the way in the EPL, Wenger and Jose both realize that there's a chance for a NEW team to be at the top of the EPL. Arsenal haven't been the top club for more than a decade, and Chelsea haven't been top dogs since Mourinho's first arrival. Wenger also realizes the need for a quality striker, and Jose wants to remove the possibility of Arsenal posing a threat to him in the EPL. He is, therefore, intentionally making Rooney uneasy (therefore destabilizing Manchester United and giving Moyes a headache) and "bidding" for Higuain, which is a ploy to eliminate Arsenal from his list of competition.

In case you're wondering, the reason he isn't playing mind games with City is because City and Chelsea are both financially very capable, and Pelegrini is used to Mourinho's mind games. Jose knows that he really CAN'T make a player uneasy in City because they're all earning millions, and he can't show "interest" in one of their targets because City will just increase their bid afterwards.

Brilliant, but cruel, ploy by Mourinho. What a lucky bastard he is that Sir Alex has retired. It erases HUGE competition from him. :)

With Ferguson gone, they might as well give the trophy to Chelsea, although I think City and Arsenal will put a fight. It's going to be an exciting season ^_^

I still think Manchester City have strengthened their team more than Chelsea and will progress farther this season. But no doubt they will both be in the top three. Too early to tell who will win the EPL though.
