Chelsea battle Manchester United to Cristiano Ronaldo

Ridiculous or pretty much great possibility ?

Fabregas transfer to Chelsea sounded ridiculous to everyone , same was with Van Persie to United or Lampard to Man City .

Ronaldo is going to turn 30 next summer and Madrid may get tempted to cash out on superstar.

Do you think this is a next shock transfer ?

Money talks as if Madrid doesnt have money :), the only way Ronaldo could leave Madrid is by a bigger sportive project, he left Man United for sportive reasons...
I believe he could have bigger contract than Rooney if he wanted to stay in Manchester, Ronaldo really love United and will probably give them a chance to buy him first if he decides to leave.
Fabregas move to Chelsea is an Arsenal mistake, the player first choice after Barça decided to sell him was Arsenal,I guess Gunners are still regretting it.
Fabregas, Alexis, Ozil and Di Maria signings were because of a club decision to sell the players, Messi, Neymar, Bale and Ronaldo are completely different issues guys, no club in the world can attract them just because of money, they already earn incredible amounts of money...

Fabregas is no Messi/Ronaldo, If Barça wanted him to stay he would have never left Cataluna, if Real Madrid wants Ronaldo to stay, he will never leave, and realistically if he doesnt make a heart choice ( comming back to United ) wich club can pretend to have a bigger sportive project than Real Madrid ?

It's only my opinion but if I was in charge of Chelsea FC I would never replace a 30 years old Ronaldo with 24 years Hazard next season, regardless of the deal.

No Real Madrid's manager who's in the right mind would sell Ronaldo or not doing 200% of their abilities to keep him. This is not gonna happen, and if he goes back, he will go to MU.

I actually do mind if he leaves even for United but if he leaves when he is 33+ to United i understand.

If he leaves in the summer to Chelsea then its the FKIN ILLUMINATI!!!!!!!!!!

no really if he leaves i pretty sure would hate Perez the manager and RM as a club that sale i would never tolirate nor the accept.

the Illuminati bros.......

I wouldn't mind if we get him without putting the nonsense-Hazard deal in it in January. I think we are the only top 7 club in England who can afford to pay that since everybody spent a lot this summer while we made profit. He is 29 and will turn 30 next year but as what Marcus said "He will still worth every penny for all the fans he will bring , sponsors and jersey sales."

Courtois/Cech
Ivanovic - Cahill - Terry - Luis/Azpi
Oscar/Willian - Fabregas - Matic/Ramires
Hazard/Schürrle/Salah - Costa/Remy/Drogba - Ronaldo

@alex

Are you sure Hazard would not want to join Real Madrid ? Many world stars would like to play for Madrid and I think Hazard is not exception . Chelsea can force him to stay maybe one season but not forever . Therefore if Madrid throws us 100 million pounds , I will gladly accept it and make peace with it . Then rebuy him for cheaper when things will not go as he expected :D

@Marcus I value our players like Hazard way higher than money. Even with 100 million pounds I would be pissed off if this happens. I don't want another Robben mistake. He is still young and I'm sure our club won't sell him at any price, PSG tried with 80 millions but we didn't want to sell. The same would be with Real Madrid. I don't think we would let him go not before 30. He is happy at Stamford Bridge why would he go in the first place?

Well, Hazard's desired club is Real Madrid after all.

IF RM decide to sell Ronaldo which would be a very risky move by Perez, he will only go to United. He is not Fabregas, Ronaldo has some decency.

@Alex

I agree with you there. Players like Hazard are priceless, especially when Chelsea FC can have a potential club legend and icon on their hands if Hazard stays at Chelsea for 8+ years and puts in the performances he's expected of. Best part is that Chelsea can get almost full credit for developing him (alongside Lille of course). It's like the Lampard situation. Would you really have considered selling Frank Lampard at the age of 23? No, that's outrageous. Now look how well he turned out. :)

First of all, Selling Hazard for Ronaldo would be stupid.

@NovaRuk, Real looks a more possible destination than Barca, but Im pretty sure Hazard prefers Barca.

If we are offered him for just 30M without Hazard, then I'll take it but Hazard his priceless. Just like Oscar, Schurlle and co. Also, lower league clubs, hands off our Baker, Ake, Solanke, IzzyBrown etc.

Idk every player wants to join Spanish Giant. It is a club full of stars where stars fall and rise higher than they ever would anywhere else . Real Madrid is still ultimate team to be in for every growing footballer . There are certainly less number of footballers dreaming to put on Chelsea jersey one day .

It is hard place to succeed not necessarily because of the league or even competition within the club , but more because of politics of how club is being operated and image it creates. ( Like the case of Di Maria , Ozil , and etc players. )

Still football changes and Chelsea may offer more than Madrid will or could like before . However, i won't be surprised at all if Hazard will want to join Real one day .
