There are 5 teams through to Round of 16 before #MD5:

Borussia Dortmund
PSG
Arsenal
Atletico Madrid
Bayern Munich

Who else can qualify on Match Day #5? Can your team make it?
Let's discuss the games here.

-If we win against Benfica and Kiev gets a point or points, we are through. But anything can happen between Napoli, Benfica and Beşiktaş in Group B

I think it will be an interesting matchday. Plenty of intriguing matches.

Group A- PSG are having a shit season, and Arsenal are in form, so I expect Arsenal to win and guarantee top spot.

Group B - Anything can happen really. Napoli will probably defeat Dynamo Kiev, so Besiktas-Benfica is the match to look out for.

Group C - Intriguing set of fixtures. I don't know if Messi will recover in time for Celtic Park and if he doesn't it can be difficult for Barca here. (Remember the 2-1 win?) Manchester City have no easier task on their hands either and in this fixture last year they only beat Borussia with a 90th minute penalty.

Group D - We all know what's gonna happen

Group E - I expect Tottenham to be eliminated this week.

Group F - If Real don't get a result here, it gets difficult for them with their next match against Dortmund. So Real Madrid will come out all guns blazing and I think they should win.

Group G - Juventus have a very real chance of losing out on top spot here because Sevilla are good at home. Lyon are pretty much out of it.

I really hope Di maria doesn't play. I'd take a draw, and then a good win to Basel.

First game of the round: CSKA Moskow 1-1 Leverkusen. Both teams deserved a point here but I must say Leverkusen are impressing me this year in CL. Even tho they only have 1 win, they play really well.
Now if Monaco wins, Tottenham are out.

Borussia Dortmund 8 - 4 Legia Warsaw
What a game... REUS with a hattrick.

Madrid just beat Sporting narrowly. Decent game from Madrid, Sporting were good but failed to create enough chances. Kovacic flopped to get Pereira the red card, shame on him. Good to see Benzema scoring again, but disappointed to see Bale injured and James literally rotting on the bench.

It will be awesome if we can do this: Silent cheer
But I am not sure if our fans manage to keep silence in a game even tho it's only for 1 min. It will be the first time in history.

^ What i have to anwer each time Lodatz share his dreams with us....

you' re not trying to troll or anything, are you by chance ?

Sure i was trying to troll Spurs, the biggest CL contenders of Europe this season, sorry Lodatz i was wrong they are so incredibly strong, experimented and rock solid. I just never sized a team level before, but then this Spurs will lift the trophy this season for sure....

@Emrecan Tottenham arent Mathematically out, they need to beat CSKA home by + 2 goals or 3 goals depending on the other game and pray for Leverkusen to loose against Monaco at home. wich is quite impossible knowing that Monaco secured first place and Leverkusen home are quite complicated and motivated to go through... I ruled them out since day 1 but they still are Mathematically in. ( anecdotic )

@tiki_taka Nope. Since they've lost 1-0(agg) against Leverkusen, they are out.

Are you sure its on Head to head Agg ? I thought its about goal difference...

Table order :

  1. points won; 2. points in head-to-head matches; 3. goal difference in hth matches; 4. goals scored in hth matches; 5. away goals in hth matches; 6. total goal difference; 7. total goals scored; 8. better UEFA Team Ranking.

OK you are right, Head to head is above goal difference, Tottenham ARE officially OUT.

@Emre didn't expect this at all man. You could have had 1-0 easily, marginal offside on Abou. Game would've been completely different. Still, your crowd man. Be proud. 0-3 in Lisbon like this = complete silence.

@tiki We know this group was gonna be though because of Leverkusen and Monaco, didn't actually Tottenham to be out before the end of the group. :O Well, I mean, I know they could given their reputation with Europe but... seriously, I feel sad for Spurs fan. Must be tough. :(

On another note, Leicester top of their group, incredible fox, once again! :D

@VamosBenfica Thanks man. Your team amazed me tonight. Awesome display at the first half. Let's hope for a surprise from Kiev.

I must admit I thought it was over at 0-3 half-time. It was kind of funny, because when Mitroglou missed that incredible chance to make 0-4 alone with the keeper, I had a feeling Besiktas would make a comeback. And they did, lol.

Well played! Amazing crowd in Turkey. One of the most entertaining matches I've seen. Predicted Benfica and Besiktas to go through from the beginning, and it looks quite likely now. Think both of us will win our last games.
