Celta Vigo 4-3 Barcelona

I didn't watch the match, but from what I've heard individual mistakes cost Barcelona and they lost their second game already this season. Real Madrid drew 1-1 with Eibar but Barcelona couldn't even manage to do that. As a result they are now 4th in the table.

Barcelona have already dropped the exact same number of points as Manchester United in the league this season. Let that sink in.

Looking forward to reading your thoughts on the match and what Barcelona needs to do to come back stronger??

Nothing, Enrique's rotations and decisions are to be blamed, Busquets had a poor game, doesnt happen much in a season and both starters Iniesta-rakitic werent starting. Second half was perfect except Ter S. mistake, Iniesta changed the game. Barca has 2 brains who create chances, one is injured, the other rested.
They are obliged to give some new players a chance despite costing points, im not worried the only game the Srarting XI were playing, they destroyed Celtic.
Could have been worse if Madrid weren't loosing points, it only show that even big teams need to be always at 120% to win convincingly, despite being superior on paper...
It also shows that Liga teams are competitive just like clubs representing Spain in Europe.

It was a bad game but that is fine. Even the best have bad days or some stretches of poor form. Spanish teams nowadays aren't the same as they were 5 years ago either, so that means that unless you are at 100% you can even draw or lose against teams like Eibar and Alaves at home.

Yeah the La Liga is a joke league, 2 horse race etc.

Barca never should've bought Alcacer and never should've sold Bravo by the way.

I dont know but I never like Ter Stegen. I hope he quits thinking he was the new Neuer

A collection of mistakes made the game 3-0 in the first half and Stegen rounded his awful display with a seriously 100% avoidable mistake. I would bench him and Mathieu.

Paco and Gomez dont really fit into the Barca style and I can see Paco leaving Barca by the end of the year.

@Tuan_jinn To be sincere, I totally understand where this comment is coming from, I like him as a prospect but for some reason, I sometime feel like he still need a improve with his decision making and to become more mature. :(

@Raimondo To be fair, Paco was kind of Barcelona third or fourth choice as a backup striker, seem like no one wanted to competition with MSN. Anyway, it kind of results in Paco maybe not fitting as well as some other player could have. :(

I agree with both @Emo and @tuan. Never liked Ter Stegen from the start. It's my personal feeling that the is too over confident, never takes the easier route, and overall just tries to flaunt.
I would have never sold Bravo and made him first choice.

Why is it that whenever Real or Barca looses points there's a big risk the other team will loose points too? Same when Real drew Villareal, I just knew Bara wouldnät win over Atletico. If this continues, the league itself will even be exciting to watch! Sevilla, now positioned 3rd hasn't met any tougher opponents yet, and when they do they'll loose points too.

Hopefully both City and Barca will find their way back to winning ways before they face eachother on the 19th October in CL.

@KTB

The nerves get to the players. They get set in the mindset "I have to win this game because they dropped points" and they end up flopping instead. Happens to both Madrid and Barca most of the time.
