Real Madrid superstar Iker Casillas is out for the next 6-12 weeks (which includes the 3 El Clasicos and the two Champions League fixtures against Man Utd) with a broken bone in the base of his left hand. He received this injury after being kicked in the hand by teammate Alvaro Arbeloa in the match against Valencia in the Copa del Rey.

Well, looks like we're not going anywhere in the Champions League. Seriously, Adan can't save shit. And looks like we're losing the three El Clasicos as well, since Casillas saves at least three to five impossible shots from Messi, Iniesta, and Pedro every Clasico.

More troubles piling on top of eachother. This is Adam to prove that Mou was right to select him but frankly I don't think anyone believes in him. Madrid's defense has to be in top form if they want to win.

Not trying to heap fresh negativity onto things, but, I'm not sure Ramos and Pepe are up to it. :/ As Dynatian98 says, Casillas has been the real rock in their defense. This is a severe blow.

This is a huge blow. Pause. I'm sure RM can cope though.

I wonder how Arbeloa feels since he broke the world's best keeper's hand.

It was accidental, but I'm sure he feels guilty.

Really there was nothing Arbeloa could have done. I'm sure most of the blame goes on him because without Casillas, Madrid is nothing.

Diego Lopez is not Casillas, but he's better than Adan. Hopefully he'll pull off some brilliant performances against Barcelona and Man United.

Won't he be Cup Tied?

@ramaboy

Yea probably, but he's much better than Adan, so I think that we'll probably sell Adan and keep Diego Lopez as our second choice. And I don't think that Lopez will be just cup tied, he'll probably get more games in the league and some in Europe as well (he's a world class keeper himself).
