I tried to get more info on teams such as Bayer Leverkusen, Atletico Madrid, and Athletic Bilbao, but unfortunately I couldn't find enough sources to validate the number of appearances their players made with their clubs.

NOW.
With this data I collected, you can make several assumptions.

  1. There are certain teams that have players from their youth system that continue to serve for their boyhood club, and the teams end up having players who have made over 300 appearances for them (e.g. Man United, Bayern, and Barcelona).

  2. There are certain teams that are in the midst of rebuilding themselves, and therefore don't have many players with more than 100 appearances for their club, or are using relatively young players (e.g. Dortmund, Juve, Milan, Arsenal, and Valencia)

  3. There are certain teams that have been rebuilding themselves for some time now, and have quite a few players with more than 100 apps (Real Madrid and Tottenham).

  4. There are a few teams that HAVE a lot of experienced and loyal players, but don't have the quality to be all that successful against their competition (Liverpool and Inter).

It's kinda crazy how much Giggs and Scholes DESTROY virtually anyone else. (Carragher and Zanetti the only obvious exceptions).

casillas could set a new world record. peter shilton has this at 1005. he may need to play another ten years to do it tho. giggs will just miss that amount imo.
