Sevilla's UEFA Europa League hero, Carlos Bacca was a fisherman in 2009 before he went on to become the prolific striker he is today

‘At 20 I was living in my village, Puerto Colombia, working as a bus driver’s assistant. Life was far from easy,’ he told Marca.

At the time Bacca believed all doors into the football world had been slammed shut. It wasn’t until 2009, when he was 23 years old, that he made it into the ‘professional league’.

In 2009 however before getting his first professional season at Atlético Junior, Bacca was working part-time as a fisherman to support himself and his family finaincially. Bacca had also worked as a bus driver's assistant, to earn more money since his family came from a poor background.

Things started to get better however and a year later he became the highest goalscorer in the Copa Colombia. In 2012 he moved to Club Brugge in Belgium before joining Sevilla a year later.

I hope you guys find this at least bit motivational, and never give up on your dreams.

I saw this quote the other day. "Your dream doesn't have an expiration date. Take a deep breath and try again."
