Some of you might have seen it, but Im sure there are some who are not really into women football haven't seen it.

Carli scored a hattrick in the final between US 4 - 0 Japan. One of them was a jaw-dropping goal.

Surprisingly, no one has posted about it yet. So here you go, enjoy

It's obviously a great goal, but what makes this one truly good is that it happened in a world cup final. It was awesome.

(Inner American pride comes out)

@tuan_jinn I live in Canada, but I am a dual citizen that was born in America. Where I live is spitting distance from American soil.

@tiki_taka The keeping could've been better, but no one really knocked Courtios when it happened to him this year and he was closer to his net (I think) than the Japanese keeper was.

I'd say Courtois was further away from his net. The greatest effort I've seen recently was John Ruddy's attempt against Suarez last year - he was so close to pulling of a great save. At least the Jap keeper did better than Adrian against Rooney.

I gotta say it wasn't an easy ball to save... She could have done better, but that happens to ever goalie... it was a brilliant goal.

I dont speak about only this ball but in general, some teams have awful keepers in women Football, but the field game really progressed in many countries...

Seems that i got missunderstood here, women Football progress is noticable, i started to mention it, some great shots, control, dribbles, intensity.
But aside from big nations, few teams in the world have good women Gks, here it was complicated but the Gk slipped just before touching the ball and conceding, The German or US GK would have stopped it maybe. That was still an awesome goal.
