Can Jamie Vardy break Ruud van Nistelrooy's record?

Vardy will be playing against Man U if he scores he will break the record.

Can Van Nistelrooy's Man U save his record or no?

I think that he will break the record but, it will be hard because Man U's defence has been very strong where as their attack has been very quiet.

What are your thoughts?

I don't think he will, but if anyone is going to get a goal against Man U, it's going to be Vardy. Smalling is a great defender, but he isn't as comfortable in possession as I'd like. Because of this, I expect Vardy to be pressing him all day. Hopefully we'll have Blind back there as well because he almost never misses a pass, but that's the way you score on United. Fast counters and turnovers. No one does that better than Leicester and Vardy right now.

I would be very happy for him to make a new record, this guy is living his dream.

I'd like him to break the record as we all love the underdogs, don't we? Plus, it's against United, so I want it even more.

Vardy's pace is unreal, it's up to par with the likes of Arjen Robben. I think he will break the record, and who else could he be able to break it against other than United?

As much as I want this to happen I dont think he will achieve it sadly. Personally I hope he does though but ManU with that ugly football they play the recent weeks maybe another 0-0.

He has one more record to break it is 12 games streak by Jimmy Dunne . It will be terrific achievement !

What strikes me most is that Vardy 5 years ago was playing pretty much in " Sunday football quality of football league " .
Amazing how much can one achieve in such a short time ! Very inspiring for anyone who is working hard in anything in life not just football !

Indeed Marcus, and the fact is that he broke this record while playing for Leicester City is remarkable,

We can say how awesome his teammates are all we want but, this team is an underdog teams, and you would think of them as lower half of the table, or even relegation zone. And now look at where they are, and where he is. Phenomenol
