Honestly we shouldn't look at footballers life off the pitch and compare them, what they do off the pitch should be no ones business

Most players who are really annoying on the pitch could be really friendly off the pitch. There are many examples about that. But for me Ronaldo or Messi both are great on or off the pitch.

@Dynastian I'm thinking about when he says he is best and don't think about other great players,such as Messi.
For me he is amazing class but saying that he is best even Messi has got same skills and class.

Typical of Ronaldo, but at the same time they are legends of the game, understandble for him to think highly of himself, every star thinks highly of themself, he just shows it while other are clever to hide it.

Please learn to read. He is stating that he has to have high confidence in himself and believe that he is the best in order to succeed. It is a simple formula: success breeds confidence, and confidence breeds success. He never disacknowledges Messi. He respects Messi as much as Messi respects him. He said it himself.... he does not care if he is not the best, he has to believe he is the best to have the ambition to succeed.
