Hello guys, how you doing? Today is Friday, came home from work a bit late because there was crash so traffic jam happened. Anyways, putting my problems aside, I decided to write this analysis about current Bundesliga season, since it has been exicting, far better than last season. Also because we don't have much regular Bundesliga watchers on forums (which is really sad), but I hope to make some quality discussion and put insight on what's happening and why is it happening. So let's take a look at table and then we will comment current situation

Bayern Munich is doing fantastic which wasn't so predictable at start of season, Heynckes brought the big change we needed and so far it is working very well - we don't concede much while we also win all our matches (100% win percentage since he came back). Ulreich is possibly biggest improvement, he was really shaky but run of matches made him solid keeper. That same effect came to both Hummels and Boateng who were poor during the start of season, now are back as arguably one of best centerback partnerships. However we are witnessing true transformation of Alaba back to his 2012 form. He is fantastic since Jupp took over, constantly threat on left side and providing actually solid crosses. His partner Kimmich is unbeliveable... I love this guy so much it can't be explained in words. Best rightback in Europe at the moment without much competition. Javi is back where he belongs - CDM and it is only right thing to do. So far so good from him. Robben is still doing very good which was expected from him, on other hand Ribery's injury really may hurt any chance of him being there at Bayern and actually having playtime... meanwhile Coman seems to have replaced him very good, our best player since Jupp took over. Vidal is only notable downgrade ;(

Since people do care about them, Borussia Dortmund is shit. They were never supposed to fire Tuchel, Bosz is good coach but fails miserably with his stubborness. Absurdly high back line is suicide and they got counterattacked a lot of times by average teams or even not-that-fast players. Sad for them because I wanted a bit more competition for Bayern and to test Jupp in big or crucial matches. They have a lot of negatives, and a few of positives, Gotze is back for sure, been one of their best players so far. And Pulisic, absolute gem, ignore cringey Americans and you will see that this guy has potential to be one of best players ever born in North America. His potential is surreal, amongst best in world by his age.

Anyways since I bet most people don't follow Bundesliga, I'll have quick summary of players that were fantastic this season:

Marcel Sabitzer - attacking midfielder or even winger from Leipzig, on level of Forsberg this season, assisted three times and is crucial in their attack.
Jean-Kevin Augustin - famous after that delicious roulette against Porto in UCL, currently doing well in Leipzig. Striker with great finishing and absolutely outrageous ball-control.
Max Meyer - remember him from FIFA13? He was fantastic young attacking midfielder from Schalke, he is still with them but significant role change has happened. Meyer is now, believe it or not, deep-lying playmaker. And you wouldn't think so but he is doing great, aswell as wholed Schalke squad.
Amine Harit - he came to Schalke from Nantes as relatively unknown player but has fantastic start, although he doesn't assist or score much he is always amongst best players on field.
Weston McKennie - third one from Schalke, American who scored on his debut in NT. He plays as CDM but also likes going forward. Strong tackler and fantastic ball control. He is only 19.
Salif Sane - Hannover is suprisingly 5th in Bundesliga and also beated Dortmund 4-2 few weeks ago, and we can thank Sane for it. Actually a defender, he is reason Hannover didn't concede much more.

And of course few more who were good but I am already tired of writing: Vollan, Bailey, Brandt, Havertz (Bayer), Rebic, Haller (Frankfurt), Ascacibar (Stuttgart), Uth (Hoffenheim)...

I wish there was more Bundesliga discussion on forums, hope this will help it atleast a bit. You may also share your questions and I'll do my best with answering them.

How is Jupp handling the incredibly stacked team? Is there a lot of rotation or are a few players getting benched? Specifically Muller, James, Tolisso, Coman, and Vidal.
Kimmich is so good. Probably one of the top 3 right backs.

BVB completely imploded. They started so well (mainly cus Bayern was lackluster) but recently they have been losing too many matches. Leipzig is doing well and hopefully they can challenge Bayern the whole season again.

One thing that bother me is the number of goal scored, BVB has scored the most goal of all the team as of now but their defending is really bad and is their main weak point once again, they really need to fix it.

Anywaym I'm glad to hear Augustin is doing good for Leipzig, I was rating him higly at PSG because of his international results with the France young side but back then, he never was given a chance to develop and perform.

Meyer seem like he is really good, suprised to realize he is still only 22, propably the future of German national team and will propably end up being targeted by a big team soon.

@raimondo, Muller and James are sharing playtime on CAM spot but Muller is first choice, I suppose we might see James on wings against PSG or something like that, depends will he trust Coman on left side (his crossing is still average). Coman is currently starter, Tolisso and Rudy are sharing playtime but Tolisso didn't impress next to Vidal (which was reasonable). Tolisso still needs to play with Rudy. Vidal is currently in bad form so he often gets dropped to Thiago/Javi/Rudy. Also, Jupp trusts Sule a lot and that is something I expected to see since Sule is beast and can surely be top 5 centerback in future.

@Emo, well, Meyer was in Spurs' wishlist but I doubt he would play DLP/CM there, I think they saw him as more of Alli/Eriksen replacement, I am glad he stayed and showed his potential and talent.

Augustin was as good as Mbappe in French young teams, he was really close to first team but playing in Leipzig will help him a lot. They are balancing playtime well and they are playing 4222 so he is often going to get chance like he did when Werner was gone.

I don't think Botz is a bad manager, what's he supposed to do when his defenders aren't defending and his goalkeeper isn't saving anything.

It is the manager's task to organize the defense. Often, a solid defense makes a goalkeeper look better than he is. BVB has had the worst defense amongst top European teams for quite some time now.

@Dynast True that, beside, BVB does have some very good defender even if its not their strong point.

Its insulting, doesn't give any explanation as to why you think that it is and if your gonna comment that, you might as well keep that kind of thought that no one is gonna appreciate to yourself. Just some month ago they had every single club from Bundesliga playing in all European competitions lose their match, and Bayern is again winning the league with pensioners. In Champions League no players from Bundesliga are at the top of any stats, no team at the top of the group. Just look at the results, Borussia played a draw with Apoel, Köln lost to Red Star...Look at the stats, top scorer in Bundesliga scored 13 goals so far, compared to LaLiga, not even someone like Messi scored as many goals, not to mention Premier League where it's actually Salah with the most goals at the moment, it's obvious that it's too easy in Bundesliga and no real competition.

@Golazo Well, now your explaining your point at least. I like that better. However, I still think your being harsh and that in all truth, German have quite the poor representative in Europe. Some of them lack experience in Europe, other are in poor form or are still adapting to a new manager style of play. I don't think its fair to say that because they are not doing good in Europe ATM, they are a weak league in general. :(

Coming from reddit there was real extreme cringe amounts of comments about Pulisic, I don't mean like overhyping him a bit, but so much guys not knowing anything about football claimed Pulisic is 'biggest young talent since Messi' and even now-infamous reddit comment 'greatest American since George Washington'.

Because clubs like Freiburg, Hertha and Koln made it rather than M'gladbach, Bayer or Schalke. Weak period doesn't mean league is weak. PL was **** for years and I don't recall saying that it was weak league? That's pretty two-dimensional if you ask me. Not even mentioning Koln is last, Freiburg 17th, Hertha 14th.

It's not our problem Bayern does better business than most of other Bundesliga clubs and doesn't overpay... Also we're really not pensioners. I don't get how can you claim that while our starting XI only has Robben who is over 30.

Our starting XI is average age of about 27 and half. Not even much over Chelsea and I don't see problem in having team on peak and youngsters in line of replacing them.

What a shitty conclusion. Man with 12 goals is on par with few different lads, best striker in Europe. Aswell as knowing second best is again one of best strikers in Europe.

I don't care about whatever you think of league, as long it is entertaining and has fantastic conditions it simply can't be weak league. But whatever. Your opinion is your opinion.

So what does that tell you? Inconsistant league, inconsistant teams...if those teams made it in Europe it means they were clearly better than Bayer,Schalke and so on which means that the quality of those other teams was even worse.

Jupp revitalized a weak side instantly, as far as Bundesliga being a weak league, form is temporary but 4 cl spots and 2-3 europa league spots, and the insane amount of talents in Germany would argue that it is not a weak league.

lets put it this way , there arnt easy teams to play against , just generally better teams than others, I dont think any bayern player this year would say any of their games were easy, they have amazing players yes, but we saw at the beginning of the year that doesnt mean you will win games, but with a manager with a vision and an understanding of the team and an ability to get the most out of players, bayern is pretty much unstoppable yes

It's really easy to see that it's weaker compared to the best leagues, Premier League, La Liga and Serie A. In that context I was talking about and if there is any of you that thought I was saying in general or comparing it to all possible leagues around the world...please be serious.

@Golazo Well, technically, La Liga and Serie A teams aren't all doing so hot in Europe either, and they only have some of their strongest team there so we might have well say they are weaker than EPL if we follow the logic of the results in Europe. Of course, that wouldn't work cause we all know that the only 4 team who made it to the CL final in recent year are either from Spain (Barca, Atletico and Real) or from Serie A (Juventus). But more seriously, lets not start a debate again about which league is better, its a question of opinion and we will never all be able to agree. :(
