yup. just strategy to boost website visits.
Same with Arsenal, posted one just right now about Shaqiri, Lavezzi, Martinez...
Like quikzyyy said, it's same with Arsenal, they do it all year. Never really found out why.
It may increase website traffic but it's pretty annoying, they post about players which they(Arsenal) will not even TRY to sign.
so every year around the transfer windows, the liverpool fc website (http://www.liverpoolfc.com/) post transfer rumours on a link titled 'latest lfc rumours and newspaper talk.' on each article they're careful and stipulate that "this story has been reproduced from todays media, it does not necessarily represent the position of liverpool football club.' like today they posted an article linking lavezzi to liverpool and idk if its just me but the fact that theyre doing that seems very unprofessional.
then i thought that they might do it to boost the morale of the fans, considering our recent run of terrible form. but even when we were first this time last year, they still did it.
so what are your thoughts? is it totally normal? is it bizarre? do any other clubs do it?
