oh and the usual, Medel got send off after losing his temper... again..
For those who don't know, Sevilla and Real Betis are from the same city (Seville). This match would be the equivalent of Tottenham vs Arsenal. Great comeback btw.
I knew this match was on today but they weren't showing it here. Last I checked Betis was behind 2-3. So, this draw kept their CL fight alive?
bahahhahaha. Just noticed the bottom pitcure :)
Medel's missing a screw up there
"One of Europe's biggest derbies"
LOL. trollfail.
RAKITIC!!! :D
Gary Medel is a punk
It is one of Europe's biggest derbies.
The atmosphere is insane! the play on field is immense! the passion is 24/7 on fire!
you and spain knibis wil go on forever
@Lodatz, are you detached from reality?
Its up there with Lazio vs Roma and the others.. The atmosphere is amazing and Betis and Sevilla are 2 big clubs in spain historically and the quality of play was really good yesterday
why should i even listen to what the guy who hasn't seen a la liga game other than real and barca has to say?
please i beg you, stop trolling..
i did a harmless little post on the a big match.. and you had to troll, :ok:
"Its up there with Lazio vs Roma and the others.. The atmosphere is amazing and Betis and Sevilla are 2 big clubs in spain historically and the quality of play was really good yesterday"
So what you MEAN is: it's one of SPAIN's biggest derbies.
I just keep correcting your crap, knibis, because you're a troll. :)
Or are you prepared to admit that the North London Derby is one of Europe's biggest derbies, too? How about the Merseyside derby? How about the Manchester derby?
Go, on. Tell me that all 3 of those are one of Europe's biggest derbies. Put your money where your mouth is, if you have the guts. ;)
We both know that you won't.
@Boix: the level of passion involved has nothing to do with how 'big' it is. The fact is, no-one cares about Lazio vs Roma, except fans of Serie A. The fact is: no-one cares about Betis vs Sevilla, except La Liga fans. And the truth is, no-one cares about Espanyol vs Barcelona, except, well, probably except Catalans only.
Now, Real vs Atletico? THAT's one of Europe's biggest derbies.
@Lodatz: I'm surprised at your comments. I find your assertions that "no-one cares" to be both arrogant and untrue. Lazio vs Roma is a MASSIVE derby. Just because you don't care about it doesn't mean you should generalize that sentiment.
I have to say that you're the one trolling here pal.
@Foot, to be fair to Lodatz, knibis deserves all he gets, every time Lo makes a comment in the Spurs highlights knibis is there trolling both him and Spurs, so you know what they say, don't dish it out if you can't take it back. If he starts it, expect to get it back.
@Foot: What exactly is massive about it, man? Who does it matter to? Are either Lazio or Roma big European heavyweights? No, they're not, either historically or currently. It may be a big deal within Serie A, but for European football, it's really unimportant, same with Betis vs Sevilla.
By contrast: Internazionale vs AC Milan is massive. Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid is huge.
There's a big difference.
I ask again: is the NLD a big deal across Europe? Is Liverpool vs Everton? How about Newcastle vs Sunderland? These may be big deals locally, or within the English league, but are they 'big European derbies'? Of course not.
Now, the Manchester derby, right now, is huge.
And just as a side point: you know that picture of the dude giving the finger to the fans? If that were in England everyone would be bitching about how disgraceful and disrespectful it is. ;) But because it's in Spain, fan-boys like knibis act as though it just shows the 'passion'.
Huge double-standard. ;)
@Lodatz
I have to say, Lazio - Roma IS pretty huge, even to outsiders of Serie A. It's highly entertaining, and knowing that Rome is the capital of Italy, the Lazio - Roma matches are always one to watch out for. It's very, very similar to Inter - Milan. Lazio and Roma even share the same stadium like the two Milanese clubs. As for Betis - Sevilla, you're completely right. It's a derby that only matters to Spanish fans. The two biggest derbies in Spain are the Clasicos and the Madrid derby between Real and Atletico. Although the Clasicos aren't technically a derby, its atmosphere and tension is the most intense a league match can get on Planet Football.
And it goes on and on and on... You boring guys.
I'm sorry to say that but I think I have my own opinion as i respect yours. "I wouldn't watch Betis vs Sevilla or any game in La Liga except if i was really really bored i would watch Barca vs Real Madrid if it on" The same goes for Seria A. with all respect to both Italians, Spanish & all other nations I don't see an interesting league other than the EPL.
Friday entertainment of top class :) of course it would be when one of Europes biggest derbys was in town
After 45 min played: a result of 0-3 to Sevilla.. but then Betis turned it around
