Best Transfer so far?

We've had plenty to pick from..Soldado, Paulinho, Fernandinho, Isco, Irrallamendi, Neymar, Thiago Alcantara, Mkhitaryan, Aspas, Cavani, Marquinhos, Van Ginkel etc etc
So keeping in mind talent, how the player fits in with the squad, and how much the team needed the player...which do you think has been the best transfer thus far?

Gareth Bale to Madrid

Seriously though, Aubameyang to Dortmund. He was brilliant against Augsberg. I wish he played for France.

Aubameyang, Villa or Mario Gomez

Certainly Mario Gomez to Fiorentina. 16 M pounds is a meager price to pay for a man who had scored 80 goals in two seasons (10-11, 11-12). He may not have played much at all last season, but still scored 19 goals in 32 games (half of his appearances were as a substitute).

Quintero, baby. ;)

Nah, not sure, so far I'd agree with Dyna and say Mario Gomez. I'm really happy with our guy Quintero, too.

@Vendetta not for 30 Mil, we did good letting him go for 30 actually, he is closing 30 in age so next season if would wanna sell him we might have only got 15, he is worth around 20 imo as he misses quite a lot of 1 on 1s, in 4 matches he misses every opportunity scoring 0 goals followed by 4 matches where he scores 6 goals, too uneven

@knibis

Wow. You actually admitted your team/player's mistake for once. :O

But no, I think Soldado just had bad luck there. A lot of players miss 1 v 1's despite being amazing strikers. It's okay. Making mistakes is what makes us human. The best thing Soldado can do from missing those shots is learning from those mistakes he made.

@Dynastian98. lol..i knew it looked wrong, but I wasn't going to be bothered to look it up. Aubameyang looked super vs Augsburg and in the few minutes vs Bayern, but I'm still unconvinced. I'll wait on the CL to see what he's made of. Good signing tho..& cheap! so far, me thinks Isco, Paulinho are the best. Madrid have the world's best young stars, and Spurs pulled a coup with that. How i'd love any of the mids..Sandro, Paulinho or Dembele (or Bale) at United!! Title darkhorses for me!

(I wonder if anyone's actually gonna read my opinion)

My definition of a good transfer is a transfer that is good for both the squad and the fans, through short and long term consequences. Of course for young fans, commonly, a transfer can only be considered 'good' if they have created an almost instant-impact in the squad's performance, positively. But what about the impact within the squad itself?
To be honest, as exciting as it is to talk about which is the 'best transfer', it's still too early to say. But from what I've seen so far, Wilfred Bony to Swansea has, yet again, proven to be a great bargain. So far, Michu's and Bony's synergy is very deadly, and Michu isn't the sort of player that desires goals since he usually plays as a second striker. And with the support of other tactically gifted players behind them, like Ki, Britton, Hernandez, De Guzman and so forth, I have a good feeling that Swansea will become a dominant club, if things go their way this season.

From a bundesliga perspective, I agree with Dynastian that Audameyang to BvB is proving to be a good signing as well, since him and Lewandowski are working well together atm. However, similarly to the Manchester United situation, there can only be one main striker for a club, and judging by how things are going atm, the long-term consequence of this transfer MAY lead to an exit for Lewandowski. So I wouldn't say that this is the best transfer I've seen, but then again, it's still too early to say.

In terms of value for money, David Villa may prove to be the dark horse, considering he went for practically peanuts (just 2M upfront IINM and 5M in total)
