Best formation using nations (part 1 - defence)
Croatian 8 years ago Edited
Bayern Munich, Croatia 23 1323

Hello guys, today I got idea of doing this since it's really interesting (atleast for me) and can bring in decent discussion. Let me explain the concept first. It's about making formation judging by which nation has best players in position. For example, Germany has a lot of good goalkeepers. Argentina has a lot of good strikers. And stuff like that. Hope you enjoy this thread and make sure you write down your opinions. NOTE: I will write down players I think are world-class, so no decent players or inconsistent ones.

Nice share, impressed to see France just behind spain in term of defender. Its great to see though, not suprise to see that Italy and Germany are some of the best at producing talented defender. They really shine in those area. :) Can't wait to see the next one. :D

Varane has been crap for this entire season... not sure what's wrong with him. You should take him off the list for now.

No surprise seeing Germany at top for GKs and Italy for Defenders. This thread should be up for WC2018.

@Emobot, I'm shocked too, atlhough this may not actually present which nation is best or so, I find it quite weird Brazil and Spain have better defenders than France even though in my mind I thought France was much better. Sometimes I have to research stuff or just keep it in my head before saying them lol.

@Dynastian, yeah, I don't really watch La Liga and I thought Varane was on decent run of form but doing more research it seems opposite.

@Eden, considered Azpi CB (mainly based on this season) instead of LB for this thread. However he is in since I removed Varane from France and added Spanish CBs.

@Dynastian I'm with Croatian on that, at first I thought he had a decent season but then, now that I think about it, never heard anyone say he was doing good and most of the poor mix up I seen in Madrid defense are either him or Navas this season.

@Eden17 @Croatian Thanks for adding Azpi, he really deserved it, he was one of the best CB at Chelsea this season, despite not usualy playing there before. He is simply incredible. :D
