@keith28120
agreed.
ireland have the best fans.
@tUANIS very interesting!
i live in greece and i support Panathinaikos so i will choose Panathinaikos Ultras(Called Gate 13)
Panathinaikos is down 0-2 to copenhagen, fans still singing
Panathinaikos really have some great supporters and the atmosphere in the stadium is beautiful, unfortunately they don't have a really good team as they used to have in the 70's.
I've also noticed that the EPL doesn't have this amazing kind of supporting because the security is very strict in stadiums all around England so people can't really express their passion for football as much as other countries like Greece or Serbia... England has killed the atmosphere in stadiums with so much strictness.
Boca Jrs has an amazing fan base and support
I actually did a short article on this once. Not sure if I could manage to upload it here though (the FR posting is a bit strange). I'll see what I can do.
Here are some videos of the some of the craziest football fans around the world. The passion of these fans is at once awesome and terrible with the ability to inspire a team, define an entire region, or cause great devastation.
Let's start with this local Polish team whose whose small pocket of fans
are seen here showing their incredible support for the club… in an
under-12 youth tournament match no less! Try getting some sold-out PL matches to make this much noise.

As a rule, Greek and Turkish fans
are among the most hardcore you will find. And even though Aris
Thessaloniki is a small relatively unimportant Greek club, their fans - led by the 'Super 3' group - are truly a sight to behold. Below is a video of the complete & utter chaos they cause.

MY FAVORITE VIDEO:
OH, and they don't stop at football either. Here are the Aris fans again, this time cheering on Aris Basketball Club. You won't get this at the LA Lakers' Staples Center…

Even
if you live under a rock, you know that Brazil is famous for its silky
players. But it also has fanatic fanbase. Brazil's Gremio are followed
by fans famed for their frankly dangerous-looking 'avalanche' goal celebration…

Italian clubs are well known
for being a symbol of their community and as such are deeply influenced
by their supporters. A perfect example is Lazio's 'Irriducible'
whose influence over the club has amazed fans
from other clubs. Coming to prominence as Lazio rose to become one of
Europe's strongest teams in the 1990s, this 2002 BBC documentary (see
video below) shows them clearing the terraces during a match
and subsequently forcing an audience with the club's highly paid players
believed to have been acting like "mercenaries".

5. Borussia Dortmund (Germany)
This is the coolest thing ever. As the opposing team's players came onto the field, the home fans thought of a unique way to intimidate them. It worked, they won 5-1.

When Napoli beat Manchester City
in the Champions League, English pundits praised their support for
creating an "electric atmosphere" and there is no doubting the
spectacular display you see in the video below made the San Paolo
Stadium an awesome sight.

In fact, after scoring the celebration of the fans actually caused a small earthquake! (<http://www.kckrs.com/edinson-cavani-scored-a-goal-nearly-caused-an-earthquake/>)
You know what we should do...
We should do a 10 minute long video about the Ultras and the atmosphere of South american and European football and put that video on a side of a hot-air ballon and fly over the USA
Footaholic Right.. Aris And Panathinaikos fans best in greece..
After these Paok and Olympiacos..
Rapid Vienna and Panathinaikos Athen
Panathinaikos Fans And Rapid Wien Fans Are "Brothers"
All the teams in the Bundesliga...
Polish :)
I don't know enough about football to really add a lot to the discussion, but I gotta say that everytime I hear Liverpools fan singer You Never Walk Alone, I'm left in complete awe and admiration.
In a generalized sense, the best fan bases in the world belong to teams that aren't very successful. In larger clubs, or clubs that always come close to winning their domestic league, a certain level of play is expected, and when it is not given, the fan bases do pipe down considerably.
The supporters of less successful clubs are simply there to celebrate their team, irrelevant of a winning result.
Sup guys, there is one team you guys might not heard is tigres uanl. These fans are very strong at home, they always fill up the stadium, and I don't know if true but my dad told me that the fans don't leave until the players leave. They always sing and cheer. Look up a video of a game at home and see what your guys opinion.

After I saw videos like this one i started to wonder which teams actually had the most supportive and emphatic fans in the world. But what I have seen is a very disputed place for the best fans in the world, many different videos with different points of veiw. Some teams that I personally think have great supporters are Celtic, Red Star Belgrade, Besiktas, Panathinaikos and probaby River Plate alongside with Boca Juniors...
Which Team do you think has the best supporters and why?
