Willian was definitely a great signing but I don't think he's made an impact as big Fernandinho, Ozil, and Negredo.

Let's not forget that Perez stated that he preferred Beckham over Ronaldinho because Ronaldinho was "ugly", and wouldn't generate the same amount of money from "looks and images" as Beckham would. Well, he may have been right, but Ronaldinho helped usher in Barcelona's golden era...

He also asked Platini to consider a super league back in 2009 right after he signed Kaka. The guy is a joke.

@Alex: Torres may not have been Chelsea's biggest signing, but before his injury, at Liverpool, he was easily the best striker in the league. Definitely the signing of the year, when Liverpool got him.

That's true but the title says "Best EPL transfers of the last decade?" I don't think Torres was a best transfer for us, we wanted Aguero but then City paid more and we had only Torres then took the risks and signed him before the medical test to know later that he is injured. after the recovery he never played the same since then. therefore it's not the best signing but the worst luck for both parties and a lucky one for Liverpool or as I like to call it a dumb move from our side to pay such amount before the medical test. but eh sh*t happens. and he is getting better now. :)

The list indicates that Torres was the best signing of 2007/08 season. I'm sure you understand why he belongs on the list now. No one is saying he was the best signing of the decade.
