2-1 to Benfica ( I support Benfica)!
God dammit EPL fans! We are the only English club left in a European competition yet still EPL fans are rooting for Benfica -_-. Zakzook excluded as he has stated he is a Benfica supporter, but still, come on guys... I would support ManUtd if they were in the final as the only English club there.

Likewise at Vendetta. If you are a true EPL supporter and you are not in the competition you have to support any EPL club in it no matter what! I was supporting Arsenal and Man Utd in the Champions league after we got knocked out. anyways I would say 2-1 or 3-1 to Chelsea :) KTBFFH! almost 4 hours left! I can't wait!
Go Benfica!!! (At heart I want Chelsea to win becuase I am English, but still)
Actually Vendetta and AlexBatak, EPL fans support Benfica only because chelsea is a rival to their club and would like to see their rivals suffer. I personally won't support other EPL clubs if there was a final. Last season in UCL final is rooted for Bayern, and again this season rooting for Benfica. >:)
I only said "If you are a true EPL supporter" apparently they are rare here.. and mostly are foreigners. It's ok though ;)
Benfica be ready for The Blue Lions! Be afraid, be very AFRAID! :)
3-0 for Benfica no doubt. The poor lions will be tamed and send in a cage. Chelsea got lucky last year but that aint gonna happen this year.
Edit:
In the introductory handshake, Chelsea players will say: " Good luck!", while Benfica's players deservedly will say: "Good game!!".

@Kirkos: I find that okay I guess. If you were English, that would have made me surprised to say that. But still, rival club or not, I would be happy if I see an English club in a final even if finals. We are helping the EPL's reputation improve.
I could start a whole thread about this, and indeed I did last year but I will repeat:
CLUB FOOTBALL has NOTHING to do with NATIONALISM!@Alex & @Vedetta have repeatedly written that if you support a club in a footbal league you should automatically support a club from the same league in an international tournament. I wholeheartedly and adamently disagree with this view.
I am a fan and supporter of Arsenal. I am not a fan of the Barclay's Premiere League. I am a fan of one of the teams in it. Likewise, I am not a supporter of the English national team. I do not support England during international tournaments and I do not support my club rivals in international club tournamnets just because they happen to be in the same league as my club. SO WHAT? If anything I am more likely to have a dislike for one of the clubs in my league than for a club from a different league. Am I expected all of the sudden to put aside said feelings and automatically support the club? That would be disingenuous of me and more importantly, irrational.
YOUR Argument can be simplified as follows:
I support club 1 from League X. If my club is not longer in a competition I am expected, by default, to support club 2 from League X against any club from League Y simply because they are from League X.
This a logical fallacy and is an unsupported deduction.
BUT WAIT, what if your league coefficient will suffer if the other club from your league doesn't win? If the league coefficient drops low enough there would be less CL places.
In this situation I would agree that whatever my feelings towards the other club I would back it to win, simply for its indirect benefit to mine. In other words, I would support the club in question, not from some deep love for the league it plays in, or for some false sense of comradery, but for purely selfish reasons.
In the present case, a Chelsea victory will have little effect on the PL coefficient.
In summary, it is presumptuous and irrational to assume that everyone in your elague should support you in a CL or EL final just because you play in the same league. Most fans in Europe do NOT think this way at all. Any assertions that you aren't a "true fan of the leauge" are, besides being arrogant and sanctimonious, completely irrelevant as most fans' loyalties are to their club not league.
Bro, if you were English, you would have England as your favorite national team and not Egypt. Stop bsing.
You think an Arsenal fan would be happy that Chelsea won a trophy? What for? So later you can brag about it and make fun of Arsenal's drought.
Just be quiet please.
Oh and before anyone says that my argument is based solely on the fact that I dislike, allow me to persuade you otherwise. It IS true that I dislike Chelsea and probably everything to do with that club but that is neither here not there. My argument holds true for all clubs in my league.
The gist of my argument is that I will support whichever club I find more palatable. For example, I happen to be a great admirer of Ajax. If they were playing West Brom (a club I have no feeling towards) I would wish Ajax to win.
@Foota i will repeat myself again "I only said "If you are a true EPL supporter" apparently they are rare here.. and mostly are foreigners. It's ok though ;)" It's nothing to argue about it.
@Foota: First off, I never stated you should automatically support it because it's in the same league :P. Second that's just my belief. I am not a fan of many other leagues. I watch some Bundesliga and very little La Liga (Egyptian League excluded). The English clubs that go to finals in competitions where my club is not in, I will most likely support. As Alex stated, if I am a "true (that word should be switched with 'hardcore') EPL supporter, which I am. I am not going to change my belief on that and I will also not debate with you as you will most likely win. See you guys in the chat later, okay Foota and Alex? Don't miss the match :)
Of course not Bro I will be there for sure! :) 1 hour and 39 mins left!
Good luck Chelsea
2 - 1 Chelsea. haha. TORRES!!!
I predict 2-1 win for Benfica. Cazdozo 2 goals for Benfica, and Mata to score for chelsea.
