Mario Gomez’s move from Bayern Munich to Fiorentina has been completed, the German side's official website has confirmed.

The Bundesliga club have come to an agreement with the Viola for a €16m move.

The Tuscan side are set to pay Pep Guardiola’s men the fee over a period of four years, plus €4m more in add-ons.

Gomez has become one of the most sought-after striker in Europe in recent season, with Napoli, Atletico Madrid and Arsenal all reportedly interested.

Florence is a much better city to live in than Naples..

WOW €20 for Gomez is a bargain! Fiorentina look like they want to push on and I'm liking their recent acquisitions.
They now have 4 strikers up front:
Gomez - def. starter
Giuseppe Rossi - LOVE THIS PLAYER. He may need some time to become match fit after being injured for so long, but could def. see him being the mobile second striker linked with the big CF Gomez.
Adem Ljajic - another impressive young forward. There's rumours he's being courted but I hope Fironetina hold onto him.
Stevan Jovetic - I cannot see how he will be a Viola player next season. He's off IMO.

most underrated world-class striker imo, is great in the German national team for ex. and he is 27 which is not that old actually (though he was older)

imo Fiorentinas best player will still be Borja Valero

Fiorentina is improving, I noticed that. Good signing. Doesn't matter for Bayern since Lewa is coming and Gomez was a lot in the bench.

fiorentina play some great football, im sure he will be up there competing for the most goals in a season
