I can' t wait to see Bayern way of playing involved by fast passes and short spaces technique.

I think Pep is still trying out different techniques and formations at Bayern. He's tried a 4-3-3 and a 4-1-4-1 this preseason, compared to Bayern's usual 4-2-3-1. Basically, Pep is trying to get the best out of his players in a free-flowing move. What he's also done is enact that pressuring policy that made his Barcelona so successful. Barca's decline in Europe after Pep left can be chased down to the fact that Tito Vilanova isn't as serious as to hunting the ball back down when they lose it as Pep was. If Pep can successfully establish this as well (which he's doing brilliantly so far), I think he's going to be big at Bayern.

Perhaps the only fault I can find in Pep's system right now is the lack of defensive-minded midfielders. Pep launched a midfield trio of Toni Kroos (AM), Thiago (DM), and Philipp Lahm (CM). This is an interesting combination, but much too offensive. With the talent Pep has at his disposal up front, he could use a little more defensive orientation back behind. If he can combine a free-flowing attack with a solid and organized defensive wall, he should do great. But perhaps I'm saying a bit too much so early on, because Pep is missing both Martinez and Schweinsteiger. Until they come back, we can't assume too much about Pep's midfield.

But what I can say is that he needs to organize his defense. No more Dani Alves and Adriano attacking up front. He needs to keep Lahm and Alaba organized so that they keep the opposition shut out. What he also has to beware of is his defensive line pressing too high up the pitch like Barca did. This made them susceptible to long balls and through balls, which can be a little risky. But I guess with CB's with decent speed in Boateng and Badstuber, Pep ought to be fine.
