Barca needs a new defense, a new goalkeeper, and some midfield depth - if they want to stay at the level their fans expect.
I don't see how they can do that without buying proven players.

@Sunflash Agreed, but for some reason, I feel like Barca don't want to spent a too much on a single players, something I find saddening. :`( Wonder what their budget actually is for this summer.
I am still amazed to see Barca still in the race for LaLiga. If we exclude both Ronaldo and Messi from their teams. I think Real Madrid would be at least 10 points clear at top. Considering this case, Barca will need to spend too much this summer.

Last year we had like one of the strongest first teams but we've dropped now players are declining and we have no right back and a average keeper. Also busquets isn't the same neither is rakitic. I just hope we use the window like we did in 14/15
I still think they won't drop more than one huge transfer. Maybe bring in Coutinho or Verratti but no more than one of them. And also buy from La Liga teams, Las Palmas, Sevilla, Bilbao... they have tons of quality players.
@Croatian Agreed, heard they are targeting Vitolo. Don't think it will be enough, Barca need a big overhaul. :(
@liomessi10 I wish you do, would be great. :)
@Emrecan 100% agreed with you, without Messi, Barca would have been in deep trouble this season.
They need to change so much in their squad. The only players that are truly consistent are probably Suarez and Messi.
@Dynastian Neymar and Alba seemed pretty decent for me as well this season though. But yeah, the rest of the team is pretty inconsistent.

Neymar had a long scoring drought though, didn't he? Alba might be solid, but he won't be winning you games. As far as potential game-changers go, I thought Messi was the only one who was truly top-notch this season at Barcelona. Neymar and Suarez failed to do much in the big games (aside from maybe one or two).
@Dynastian Even if I would be tempted to argue there is more to Neymar than scoring goal, I have to agree him and Suarez have failed to changed to results of the biggest game in the season. So yeah, I agree with you on that one.

Will Barca lead their transfer window like they did with their last? Buying only young player who are good prospect but not affirmed player? A lot of last summer recruit seemed like pretty poor choice in headsight, Digne, Denis Suarez and Cillesen didn't player much game, Andre Gomes and Paco weren't very impressive after all in my opinion and Umtiti even though he propably was the best recruit Barca did last summer, he still need to grow a bit to be considered world class. What are your opinion? With most of their key player getting older, does Barca need to spend on big name to improve and stay one of the top dog?
