Messi is a beast :)
thats obvious
Probably going to match the 100-point record for winning the league, too.
Barça and Real will be busy on the transfer market this summer, for C1 we deserved to be eliminated in 1/8 finals against Milan, but messi saved us again. we need more players for next year squad.
expected changes :
Ter stegen in / Valdes out and Neymar 80% done.
Hummels or Thiago silva ? 2 players wants to come in barcelona, but i would prefer Hummels : cheaper and younger, Silva costs 45m and Barça will be obliged to give pedro ( psg target). im watching thiago silva's atitude, he's acting in France like a diva as Ibra, but he is the best back in the world.
Rooney : i think it will be complicated for him to leave Manchester united, but he is welcome :) fantastic player, Rooney-iniesta-Busquets ^^. united will not let him go.
I think we need a world class coach, as Juan Laporta says. Rossell is destroying Laporta's heritage. buying Sanchez and Song '65m both) was a terrible mistake. tito is not guardiola, players lost their fighting spirit with tito, and lamasia's youth are not well used. some Barça fans won' t agree but facts is here.
C1 lost 4 matches : against Celtic, 1st leg in Milan only one substitution sanchez in the place of fabregas after milan first goal (sanchez was useless btw this match) , against Bayern : 1 substitution in 83min after bayern's fourth goal, villa played 7min the match was over, 2nd leg no fight, no tactic, no Hope with tito.
Against RM : we can see clearly tito's limits he is just useless, Barça won without him when he was in NY. it's just shameful to have Messi managed by a youth coach. Del bosque, pelegrini,or a german coach can do much better. this Legendary squad deserves better than tito imo... my english is terrible but we can discuss :)
Del Bosque at Barcelona? Colour me interested...
You think he'd do it?
you're right its a dificult choice for him but why not ?? he won' t go to RM cause he's not in good terms with Florentino perez. i'm not expecting him to come, but i want to know FR opinion about coaching pbs in Barça, we won la liga for 2 reasons : messi and RM pbs. we can't do anything against big teams and tito is just not the man of the situation, same for Roura.
ps lodatz : bernd schuster played at Barcelona and coached Madrid. its more dificult for players than for coaches...
Wow... Del Bosque would be perfect....
@Lod: Forgot about that that :D
After totting up 55 points in the first 19 matches of the season – 18
wins and 1 draw (against Real Madrid) – Barcelona surpassed its own
feat of 52 points in the first half of the season, set in the 2010-11
campaign.
However, even before that, the first record to fall was for the best
ever start to a league season, set when the 'Azulgranas' registered 13
wins and a draw in their first 14 games, bettering the 91-92 Real Madrid
side's 12 wins and 2 draws.
Barça has also set a new record of scoring in 51 straight league
games, beating its own 36-game streak from gameweek 9 of the 42-43
season to gameweek 18 of the 43-44 campaign. The last time the
'Azulgranas' drew a blank was on 28th January 2012 against Villarreal at
El Madrigal. This also marks the first time for 38 years that a team
has won the league with five games still to go. Last time around it was
Real Madrid that accomplished the feat, in the 74-75 season.
Magical Messi
The Argentine wizard racked up 19
straight league games (the equivalent of half a season) on the
scoresheet, from the meeting with Mallorca in November all the way
through to the clash with Celta at the end of March. In the process, he
notched up an unprecedented 29 goals in 19 matches, trouncing the
Brazilian Ronaldo's previous record hot streak of 12 goals in 10 matches
for Barça in 96-97.
2012 also saw Messi set a new record of 90 goals in a calendar year,
surpassing Gerd Müller's 84-goal haul in 1972. Of these 90, an
astonishing 25 came in the first 17 fixtures of the 2012-13 league
season.
