Barca transfers SO FAR.

IN:

Neymar (Santos)

OUT:

Fontas (Celta)
Muniesa (Stoke)
Bojan (Ajax; LOAN)
Abidal (Monaco)
Villa (Atletico)

Looks good to me. I hope we don't let anyone else go. But we still need a CB and a GK. Rumors say Barca are holding talks with PSG for Thiago Silva, and that he's willing to take a pay cut too. I really hope that goes through.

Abidal to Monaco? He will waste his time there.

@Expert

No he won't. Abidal is a winner, and an experienced man. He will bring much to Monaco. What's more is that Monaco NEED someone like Abidal.

Abidal has fought cancer and won. With his personal experiences inside (and especially outside) football, his presence will help keep a Monaco dressing room overflowing with cash surprisingly grounded. And of course, it's a nice place to retire. Abidal is French, and they speak French in Monaco, so he won't have a difficult time there. He wants to play AND win, and Monaco is giving him that chance. IMO, he couldn't have gone to a better team. :)

@expertfootball wtf? He could possibly win the the FRENCH LEAGUE, get CL football and get a regular position at the club. At Barca Alba dominated the LB position as soon as he came to the club.

You need to think before your type.

@Dynastian, exactly my thoughts. What's more monaco is the club where he started his professional career if I'm not mistaken. So it makes perfect sense. He will probably play at CB, he is getting too old to play at LB

Plus Abidal started off at Monaco too. So he started his career there and it's going to end there too, I think.
