i think he is better off in other league.. not Serie A nor PL.. good to see the beast and talent inside him is recovering.. :) Super MARIO!
Nice coach : Balo needs to know that Footballer is a hard job full of sacrifices. Says it all.
Nice is a calm club, not mediatized, players there are only glorified by the native fans, warm City with sea and sun and they have patience for that kind of players who need special atmosphere to perform.
In an interview he said going to Liverpool was his biggest mistake, he wasn't consistent at Italy tho, inconsistent related to his off pitch life. He has a girlfriend now and a stable life in a City where they don't give a **** about stars, he is finally concentrating on Football at 26 but it's a big waste, he was a complete striker at 18yo and with a little maturity would have been the best at his post.
He was glorified too soon I think that he will only benefit and will find a better club next year.
Our bad boy Balo scored again last night in Nice, 4 - 1 for Nice against Nantes marked their 6th wins, undefeated and on top of League 1 with 6 points above the 2nd teams (the two rich guys PSG & Monaco).
Balo's gesture after scoring, bowed to the fans to show his appreciation, his apology for the red card or whatever is one of the most touching moment this week.
Back to the summer when his talent was going no where, considered one of the most wasted talent in football, rejected by Milan, Liverpool and floated around with all of this bullshit. We thought we have lost him. Among all the crazy transfers, a small trade was made to Nice and the faretale started.
I dont know how long he can stay focus and keep this form, he is still Balo, but a lot more matured Balo. Can wait to see him back in action in Champions League
