Balloon Dor lol
Blatter Dor (Messi is a nice boy , he will win it)
^ Yes because the other one is a commander of the field and the other one is ugly :P
Is this some kind of joke?
No offence, but if you use google translate your sentences will be better. But balon d'or is the same in anyway language so wtf....
not sure if ballon d'Or or Balloon d'troll
yes
Some great performances by Ronaldo and people are already saying he deserves the Ballon d'Or?
^ I think saying "some" would be an understatement.
Ribery has my vote
Ribery for sure!!!
i aint sure ronaldo got the goals but ribery got the trophys
I don't know what credentials a player needs to have to be a legitimate contender of the Ballon d'Or
Goals? Assist? What about for other positions? And you can't really measure how much of an impact a player has on a team's performance. It seems we have the same discussion every year about this.
This is just like giving the ESPY's award for athlete of the year... there is no way to fairly compare athletes for different sports or players for different positions... I dont know how Casillas hasn't won the award yet for example. The award should be divided by position at least.
In the past year the individuality has overcome the team achievements so I dont know for sure if Ribery is going to win it.
I think Tuanis has just made a great point here.
It is nearly impossible to compare a defender with a striker. I mean, how on Earth do you say Ibrahimovic is better than Ramos, or Ramos is better than Ibra? Where is the foundation of either of those arguments? Is it trophies? Contribution to the team? Leadership qualities? What is the basic foundation of that argument?
It would be quite nice if the Ballon d'Or was separated into 4 parts.
Goalkeeper of the Year
Defender of the Year
Midfielder of the Year
Forward of the Year
Of course, then we would have arguments like "Ronaldo isn't a forward, he's a mid" and "Ronaldo isn't a mid, he's a forward", and so on and so forth. But it does give more recognition to players who work their asses off each year and do not get tied down into history.
I mean, if someone looks back at the Ballon d'Or winners 30 years from now.... they'll think that the only player of this generation was Lionel Messi. Was there ever a player called Iker Casillas, or Gigi Buffon? What about Philipp Lahm or Paolo Maldini? Bastian Schweinsteiger, anyone? I hope you guys see my point here.
I hate to think that would probably happen, It woudnt make any sense that in the future players like Lahm or Casillas and many others wont be remembered just because they didnt won an award...
IMO New Ballon d'or
Neuer
Lahm
Bastian
Ribery
No other team had a better player in any part of the field... just probably the striker who can be arguable.
anyways... After sniedjer and casillas failing to win the award despite all they achieved in a single season then Ribery is not the clear winner. Sneidjer won the treble just like Ribery + 2nd place in the WC! COME ON FIFA!
Who win balloon'dor 2013 I don't no
