The question had been raised on ESPN FC, as to whether Bale is overtaking Ronaldo in Real Madrid's "pecking order?" So let's debate......Is this Bale's breakthrough season at the Bernabeu, and is he becoming more popular than Ronaldo. His stats are no doubt increasing rapidly, with 4 goals and 1 assist in 2 games.......What do u lads think!?

Mate, nobody is more popular than Ronaldo anywhere let alone in Madrid. He is God there. I think Bale will have his best season ever, but to top Ronaldo? Nope, won't happen in at least 2-3 years.

Ino Ronaldo is still considered the greates @ Real, but I can see Bale putting serious contention for the top spot in pecking order......especially cos of his form!! Ronaldo is more popular and slightly better yet. Even if Bale overtakes Ronaldo in terms of quality/form, CR will still be the target man and the star player. His ego couldn't bear with being the second best I think, so he would do anything to stay in the limelight.
