this is brilliant. We don't know for how long though, people on reddit say that the source that says 3 months is not the most reliable. Still, I don't know if I should laugh or cry.

Not trying to be harsh on the fella but I doubt his injury will have impacted our team one bit.
I know some users here rate him but I equally spoke to other people that are dumbfounded we even went for him. Someone on twitter described him as "a slower Gareth Barry". 0.o

well I'm pretty sure he would have been on the bench and played tomorrow, with ramsey wilshere rosicky injured and flamini suspended. We wouldn't have gone for him if not for all these missing players at CM. Right now we only have Arteta and Chambo who can play as our pivot.

Time to get someone from the reserves. I hope a gem pops out and we get a "Gotze". He came into prominence under similar situations.

Thats Arsenal i used to know :). Now seriously, he will be useful but what a missed chance to sign quality and have a chance fo the title, the direction seems to be not even fighting, sorry for Arsenal players and fans.
Giroud looks tired, Bentner is useless, the young Sanogo is recovering and Walcott is injured. How on earth no striker was signed ?

@koldi: we have 3 good reserve players that could play in midfield.
Toral - he's going to be Arteta's replacement. Doing very well nd has trained with 1st team before.
Zelalem - plays in the same position as Toral. You know him but he's tooooo young.
Issac Hayden - more defensive minded. Looks a great prospect.

And I know someone is going to mention Eisfeld but let me say this... I don't think he'll make it. His best attribute is that he is extremely clinical in front of goal. but he's supposed to be a CAM and he doesn't pass well enough for me.

yep eisfeld is not good enough and I don't see him playing as CM. Hayden and zelalem seem to be the most suited players to step up. There is still AOC and I believe he will start next to arteta tomorrow.

Also tiki we are still second, and could be back on top on monday depending on what we do tomorrow and the result between chelsea and city. While city are strong favorites we are in an amazing position to fight for the title. And whatever people say, we have an amazing squad.

Okay if all of this is true, this signing makes absolutely no sense.... I don't know what to say anymore.

@Foota The three you have mentioned have a lot of potential. What about our young swedish midfielder Olsson? He's got a lot of good mentions from coaches and scouts alike. He could be one on the cards.

With Eisfeld I have sorta changed my mind about him slightly. He may be a tad bit overrated because he scored a lot of goals. That's not a bad thing though. But his passing needs improvement. However, I still think he has the potential to make it. With a few tweaks here and there (and a loan spell) his passing will improve and combine that with his finishing, we can see a typical Dortmund-esque player. I can only hope for the best. I hope he doesn't become like Denilson :/

OH MY. THIS STORY JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER:

According to BBC and various other sources, it turns out that KK injured his back whilst playing beach football last week in Abu Dhabi. Arsenal were informed of this and his CT scan showed injury to the back. Depsite that, and the fact that he hadn't played a competitive match in over 2 months they decided to get him anyway. He will be out for at least the next 6 games, according to official reports.

So, THEY SIGNED AN INJURED PLAYER AS EMERGENCY COVER FOR AN INJURED PLAYER.

@kolid: How did could I have forgotten Olsson? Indeed, he is on that list.
As for Eisfeld, I've been saying that from day one when all this hype was surrounding him. He is a decent player and his goal scoring is phenomenal for a midfielder but I am not sure he can bring his game up enough in time to break into the 1st team (especially with all the competition he has).

Unfuc.kingbelievable. The thought of Zelalem even having to step in for a good portion of the season is scary. He has potential, but he's more frail than Neymar.

This is freaking hilarious! I like how the injured player that he's COVERING FOR will probably be back BEFORE HIM

Arsenal are cursed with injury stories. I wish all the injured players in the world to have a speedy recovery.
