Any Chelsea fan out here who dislikes Costa?

I absolutely love this guy. His passion is unreal. I feel stupid for thinking he was playing bad on purpose when Jose was incharge. I am pretty sure he is one of the few right now in the club who actually cares about us. Please Diego never leave us.

He is a true warrior, he will deliver even when he is out of form and i hope he stays for a long time at chelsea.
I don't care if we get alot of hate bcuz of him, i didn't become a chelsea fan bcuz of what other people think so i still won't care what other people say.

Not a Chelsea fan here, but pressure from a fan base to eliminate bad behaviour can work. I remember when United picked up Ashley Young, that boy dove like he was a Barca player. The United fans ridiculed him so much that eventually it worked itself out of his game.

My point is that you can dislike the actions of a player but still support your club. Heck, you can even support the player to be a better version of themselves. That doesn't mean you have to go along with their negative actions just because they are a member of your club.

I'm kind of disappointed I don't see that much in Chelsea fans towards Costa. It pretty much guarantees that he won't change.

I love his involvement and like @bluezz said, he looks like the only one at the club who actually cares and play for the fans. Watch his celebrations, so passionate.
On the other hand, a big part of his game is to provoke and be a c*nt to destabilize defenses. I think Hiddink tried to sit him down when he arrived, and it kind of worked. Against everton was the first time since a long time he put himself in trouble by doing something ridiculous.
I'd give him one more year at the club. If he doesn't change his behaviour, get rid.

I love the guy. he's a player that all the fans of opposing teams hate. Just look at the ridiculous thread created by decent in where most people didn't even question whether Costa bit Barry at all. Spoiler alert. He didn't. He's also a player that upsets other players which creates unbalance in their team. That's a good thing.. For Chelsea.. Not for anyone else though..

And honestly speaking, is there anyone that gets so much attention on the pitch as Costa? They're on him constantly with dirty little tricks to try to make him upset. Most of the time it doesn't work though and just punishes them further. After all, he learned to play football the hard way on the streets of Brazil. He knows the mind games and dirty tricks.. He's passion is unreal. Yes, he fucks up every now and then and his aggression is as much a problem as it's an asset, but that's what he's there for. Honestly, I don't give a fuck what anyone else think about him as long as he's good for Chelsea and as long as he scores plenty of goals, which.. he does..

@ktbffhswe and Chelsea8 exactly. Diego Costa. One of us.

And people are exaggerating this "lack of fair play" thingy imo.
Aguero stamped on David Luiz but he is not known to be aggressive so that's why he is "clean" and escaped a ban for that too. Costa is known to be aggressive, that's why people lose their minds when he does anything especially media #costacrimes

To be sincere, he only truly annoy me when he unfairly change the results of a match or injure a player with his behaviour. For exemple, when he put his hand or elbow in the face of another player when there is no need do and it can be helped. This was mostly highlighted in the beginning of the season in match like the derby against Arsenal. However, on the next derby match, he got Mertesacker suspended but he did so cleanly, he forced the fault by playing well. For the incident against Everton, I do agree he went overboard but you can understand he was angry about the situation. Also, most people seem to exagerate a bit, I mean, even Messi in the pre-season had an incident and nobody got angry at him. What I'm trying to say is while I do find him a bit too much aggressive, he does seem like he is getting better. For me, he is one of those player which I dislike at first but learn to apreciate after a while.

Now, that's a good and sincere opinion^. Rather than the "Costa bite - what the F**K is wrong with him????" topics of threads.

He can certainly clean up with his acts . Overall I love the guy . One of the few players who goes out and gives 110% at all times . He has been also unfairly treated by referees because of his past . I can see he is trying to be more collected and cool but when he gets kicked around throughout the match and referees rarely bat an eye because of his reputation , he goes ballistic eventually . I can relate to the player because when I play I become aggressive player and don't take sh8t from anyone on the field . I get angry with teammates who are not putting same effort and I also get frustrated when referee is not punishing others because I can take hits due to my physicality .

However, that does not mean that many tackles should go unpunished because I did not fall down or did not seem like the one who got hurt . That is why i love the guy because I can see how frustrating it is for him . Ofcourse I condemn some of the actions he does but I think many players do it but for Costa is different and double standard . Every time I hear commentators talk they paint him as malicious player how can he changes attitude of fans , players and referees when often they are biased towards him . Trying to provoke him and when he retaliates he is the Devil guy because he knew exactly what he was doing . smh

We must keep Diego . He is old style striker and warrior . There are not many strikers available like him .

I wonder what would be Chelsea fans reaction if he was wearing red :) for my perspective better have him with you than against you, South Americans are mostly heated and got flair, what is even hilarious is that he could spit at you in a game and congrats you at the end or exchange shirt with you, he just doesn't give a fu*k about political correctness...

@Tiki Thats true, take his incident with Barry, he confront him at first, then, only a few second later, he take him in is arm like he is his own brother. Thats a really unique way of reacting, but that is a proof he is a very passionate person.

Anyone who likes football dislikes Costa. He is terrible for the game. Everyone gets mad, but Costa has no self control. Bad influence on kids watching him play and seeing him get away with it. No class whatsoever. Fitting that he is on Chelsea.

@Gareth Bale Are you implying something about Chelsea? Its a fine team in my opinion but I understand not everybody like it. Yet, there are many way to see thing, some player dislike Costa for its past mistake, other like him for his passion and they are people like me who think he is trying to do better. I would like to say every team have player who dive and act like moron from time to time.

Costa isn't a player who just dives and acts like a moron from time to time. He is really a terrible person.

Influence on the kids depends on parents first of all and if there is any other it will coaches who train those kids to play football . Dropping this constant crap about kids being influenced by footballers is parents excuse of responsibilities . Can't raise kids right then don't rely on footballers to raise them .

So about 98% of Chelsea supporters absolutely adore the guy, and maybe about ~20% of the general football fans do. As clear of a bias as there can be. Especially since I wonder if Chelsea fans would feel the same way if he used his dirty tactics against them.
