Andy Gray Opinion on David Moyes

Andy Gray believes David Moyes has struggled at Manchester United because of his lack of top-level playing experience.

The Red Devils chief has come under mounting pressure following a disastrous first season at Old Trafford, culminating in a humiliating 3-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.

And expert pundit and former star Gray claims his fellow Scot has failed to earn the respect of the United dressing room.

“No matter what David Moyes did at Everton, when he went in to Manchester United, he had to earn respect,” he told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show.

“If you were a top, top player you have that respect. You go into a place and you get respect because you played at the highest level. David didn’t, so his respect had to be gained and earned.

“I have absolutely no doubt that when he went in a lot of the lads would have thought, ‘I’m not having him’ and David’s thought, ‘I’m not having them’.”

It was obvious from beginning . Moyes making terrible conference talks especially about Rooney . Obviously , the most proudest out of United squad , Nermaja Vidic , decided not to put up with Moyes and will be leaving at the end of the season .

Moyes has no experience in high level competition, he is still very stubborn about this post. I believe he should replace other less squads to make them bigger.
