to much money schurrle
So Chelsea want Schurrle, even though they have Hazard, Mata, Oscar, Moses, and Marin, who can all play the exact same position? They must Schurrle be crazy.
@TheGame: Cech again ;) (kill me for that later). We only have Mata and Hazard who can play on the LW and AM. Then there is Benayoun who can also play LW. After that, we have Oscar as RW and his only replacement is Moses. Marin is just shit right now. Playing him would be like playing 10 men. Plus, I'm sure Benayoun will go, Malouda is gone next season, Marin will either be sold or sent on a loan because he is seriously not Chelsea material. So once Malouda, Benayoun and possibly Marin leave, we would only have Oscar, Schrulle, Moses, Hazard, and Mata. Which is still not enough for a good squad rotation to keep the players fit. Maybe Marin could stay and be a rare rotational player.
@Ven agree with you
This season when we have alot of matches than we see that fatigue problem occur so extra players are necessary just like Madrid and Barca
@The Game ManUtd has alot of Strikers like Rooney,Chicha,Welbeck, young so why you buy RVP?
@awais007, because SAF knows how to rotate them so they all remain happy, one way or another. That is one of his strengths. @Vendetta, I don't think Marin is leaving as this was his first season. Got to give him time to adjust. But the point is you'll be having 6 good players competing for the "3" in 4-2-3-1. Plus, you'll get Lukaku back who might be deployed on the wing if Torres and Ba play well. I don't think Schurrle is necessary as he doesn't bring anything new to the table. If he was a classic winger, like Valencia, whose main job is to put in good crosses and put less pressure on the fullbacks then that would be a good buy. But he is an inward winger, something Chelsea have in plenty.
Lukaku is not a winger. Second, FloMo is leaving. Third, Benayoun is leaving, I just know it. He does bring things new to the table. Marin is not Chelsea material, I already told you that. Saying he needs more seasons to adapt is bullsh*t. Mata adapted in his first season. Hazard did as well. So did Dave (Azpi), and Moses. If he can't than he is not Chelsea material. He is more like di Maria and his shots are mainly outside the box. He is also versatile, which is really helpful. He can play RW, AM, LW, or even ST. Plus, he adds that extra pace Chelsea needs with some added passing from possibly a new pivot player next season. Which brings me to my conclusion, you're not getting my message.
Hahahaha! So when the points you made make little sense is because people don't get your message? I know Lukaku is not a winger, but Chelsea have put center forwards on the wings when playing with two. Mata, Hazard and Oscar are versatile as well. Hazard and Moses are pretty speedy too. Plus, you forgot about De Bruyne, another good player who is coming back at the end of the season. Bringing Schurrle will slow down the growth of their current players. And this type of mentality is why Chelsea will never be able to sustain long-term success. If they're not willing to give young players a chance and more playing time, they will have to spend big bucks almost every transfer window. This was part of the reason why I was so pissed off when United let Pogba go to Juve.
Never mind... Arguing with you is a waste of time. At least know some sh*t before debating. Have a good day TheGame.
Okay, kid.
Chelsea set to seal £20m Schurrle deal after Leverkusen director Voller's ultimatum
Andre Schurrle's £20million
move to Stamford Bridge is set to be completed after Chelsea winger
Kevin De Bruyne was given a stark ultimatum by Bayer Leverkusen sporting
director Rudi Voller.
De
Bruyne appears to have a choice of three Bundesliga clubs, following
offers from Borussia Dortmund, Leverkusen and Schalke, and is believed
to have favoured Jurgen Klopp’s Dortmund after they made it clear they
wanted to sign him permanently for £15million.
But
he was forced to think again after Voller held talks with Chelsea in
London and De Bruyne’s agent in Brussels and insisted the Schurrle deal
hinged on Belgium’s 21-year-old joining Leverkusen on loan next season.

Voller and his assistant Michael Reschke flew back to Leverkusen on Friday afternoon after talks with Stamford Bridge bosses in London.
Voller was confident De Bruyne would
be joining them in a temporary move that will cost them £2million and,
as a consequence, reduce Chelsea’s outlay on Schurrle to £18million.
‘It was good to meet Chelsea officials, and the discussions went well, but no decision has been made yet,’ said Voller.
