This just wasn't his day.. completely deserved red card.
His walking out of the pitch was amazing, I love when he leaves all humbleness aside.
He apologized on Twitter like 30 minutes after the match. Although to me, it seemed like a forced apology so he wouldn't get too many matches of suspension. It would've been more normal to apologize the next day once he had plenty of time to reflect on his actions.
how do they do it in Spain, they use TV to analyze the episode or? in Italy with TV proofing this would be at least a 3 turns ban. up to 5.

^ they pretty much realize it's Ronaldo and that he has a big game coming up so..
What a dumbass. It's understandable to be frustrated when things aren't going your way, but physically attacking others on the pitch is inexcusable. If they don't ban him, he won't learn from this. Not only did he let himself down, but the entire team as well. The last thing you expect a newly crowned Ballon d'Or winner to do is get himself sent off at the 83rd minute with his team tied at 1-1.
Respect to the Cordoba goalkeeper though. Tried to keep things calm and prevent his team mates from starting a fight with Ronaldo. Helped prevent the situation from getting worse. Respect.
Now lets see how Spanish federation is biased...
Idiotic.
Just want to say though that (this is just a pure guess, didn't see the match) Cordoba players might've bantered him whole game w/ this Irina Shayk thing. It would be surprisingly normal to blow your head after listening 90 mins of bs.
Again this is just a guess, and probably not true. It just would be the thing that I'd do to keep him quiet.
@Dyna whatever he does, he doesnt need to be a called a dumbass. if there was a dumbass on earth then it would be you. nice way to support your favourite football club ;) bravo you are a great madridista. whatever happens off and on the pitch believe and trust in the players they are humans like you and me they make mistakes. and btw you dont know ronaldo himself in real life maybe he does have lots of things going on in his head that you as a normal football fan dont know completely nothing about.
What Ronaldo did was stupid. But then again, this sort of thing stays on the pitch. He is obviously facing personal problems, which showed today on the pitch. I hope he only gets a one match ban, even if he deserves a long one, because he will be important vs Atletico de Madrid. You have to think about the team first...

Kid, don't lecture me on how to be a Madridista. I admire Ronaldo for all the amazing things he's done and will continue to do, on and off the pitch, but this was a completely idiotic incident from him. He wasn't provoked in the slightest manner during that play, but kicked Edimar after he missed his volley and pushed another player in the face. Now he has himself banned for both Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid. Think about that. Do you really wanna try our chances against Simeone's men without Ronaldo?
He needed to think about the team first. He just made the situation worse unnecessarily with that red card. And now our league play will suffer because of his decision. He will also be set back in the Pichichi race by giving Messi 3 free games to catch up to him.
Not defending Ronaldo in the slightest way, but why did this go unbanned and no red card? (Just saw it on twitter and thought I'd post it. Not trying to start an argument)
@RM17
I think it's best to leave Messi out of this thread. Staying on topic is best for all of us.
This is why he was pissed off. It's understandable, but difficult to justify his actions.
Mom and dad: "come on Cristiano, you have to get your flu shots"
CR7: "No! That hurts like a bitch! :("
mom and dad: "grab him"
So ***CR7*** fans excuse him and keep hating on Costa and other players when it happens to them ? Why im not even surprised ?
Im sure he was only pissed off when he saw a penalty given....
edited: plz dont use that
So Arroganaldo fans excuse him and keep hating on Costa and other players when it happens to them ? Why im not even surprised ?
@Tiki
"Arroganaldo"? LOL Tiki, I'm just about 100% sure that you're a 12-year old Messi fan. :'D
tiki, how old are you?
